It's very typical for players like Nadal to have more success at an early age than a player like Federer. It was the same for Borg-McEnroe, Agassi-Sampras.

Baseliners just develop more quickly than all-court players.

again...rafa had like 3 masters per year on clay...roger didn't have any on grass

I do wish they played more tournaments on grass, i think it would be good, i would also like to see a masters tournament on grass, but i dont think it will happen.

Like I said before, I think it is because it is so hard to keep it maintenanced. It is very costly!!

Also, more and more players get injured on this surface, because it is much slippery on grass when simple dew hits it. LOL.

I think grass courts are the most difficult/expensive to maintain. You don't see them in many clubs or parks (unless you're lucky enough to live in England) so I guess it's just kind of proportional to that.
