There is no way that nadal would beat federer in his prime on grass. Federer would have defiatley got more master series titles.

The Gladiator Nadal,as is known in Italy,at age 22 has more Masters Series than Mr Federer.

Well played Nole, he´s the only one who can beat Rafa on clay, and really funny at the end imitating Rafa :D :D

May have more master series, but roger is leading in slams. Plus id bet that if there were grass court master titles, then roger would have a lot more. Its unfair that nadal gets more chances on clay than roger on grass.

well thats not correct:

Here's a comparison of Nadal vs. Federer at 22 years of age:

Nadal | Federer
Overall Record 344-78 | 259-112
Titles 32 | 14
Hard Court Titles 8 | 9
Major (Slam) Titles 6 | 2
Weeks at #1 24 | 10
Record vs #1 12-6 | 2-3

As you can see Nadal is posting the better stats, and if he continues he will be the GREATEST player of all time.

Yes but u have to remember that nadal is supposed to have not as long as career as federer do to the tremendous amount of stress he puts on his body.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

All that matters is what they will have accomplished when they are 42.

It's very typical for players like Nadal to have more success at an early age than a player like Federer. It was the same for Borg-McEnroe, Agassi-Sampras.

Baseliners just develop more quickly than all-court players.

Too bad for the short grass season. The surface seems pretty interesting to see players play on.

I do wish they played more tournaments on grass, i think it would be good, i would also like to see a masters tournament on grass, but i dont think it will happen.

Curious though, why is the grass season so short?

Like I said before, I think it is because it is so hard to keep it maintenanced. It is very costly!!

Also, more and more players get injured on this surface, because it is much slippery on grass when simple dew hits it. LOL. :P

I think grass courts are the most difficult/expensive to maintain. You don't see them in many clubs or parks (unless you're lucky enough to live in England) so I guess it's just kind of proportional to that.
