TWM-Fox (Federer) def. Elias (Djokovic) 6-2 3-6 7-5 4-6 6-3 (1h15)
Congrats Fox for the Gold. This was an exhausting match
In the first set, Fox was dominating, getting 2 breaks pretty quickly, i broke back one time but then he broke me again and closed the set 6-2. By this time i really thought i would lose in 3 sets.
Though i started to play better in the second set, and maybe also Fox played a bit less forward than in the first set, so i had more time to adjust my game and i got in control of the game i think most of the time, this second set i think finished with something like 18 winners on my side to 6 or 7 on Fox side.
The third set was a nice thriller, @ 3-3 i had two break points on his serve but couldn't convert any, the we get to 4-4, and if i remember well it was his turn then to have some break points, wich he couldn't convert either. Finally he could lead 6-5, and then i was again in trouble on my serve, and i finally lost the set,
on a double
This double was in some way foretelling the trouble i will have with my serve in the next sets wich leaded to my fall in the last set.
I have some memory flaws about the 4th set but obviously i still could hold a good level and even the game to 2-2 sets. But i had more and more trouble with Djokovic first serve and i had lots of pressure on my second serve so i had to take risks often with b1 second serves (wich hopefully were often in), but this also explains the doubles, and sometimes in very bad moments ! This got me so much on my nerves i wanted to scream a flow of %!* words in front of my LCD screen, and this concentration flaw leaded, along with some *real* fatigue (damn my vision sometimes started to become a bit blurry following the yellow ball

) leaded to more errors on my side, and Fox still could maintain a very good level and take the control of this last set.
I'm still pretty happy having played this long thriller and no dissapointed to lose it that way, it was great fun to play !
My nerves though really broke because of Djokovic %£#@#~$ serve, especially iin the end. Not sure i'll re-use him tomorow yet
Congrats again & see you in Us open
