i've seen an increasing number of players (mostly on WT, but here on ITST as well) use it when not approaching the net. it troubles me because i feel it does increase the efficacy of the shot. at least most of the time.
i understand that it can be used for "fast repositioning", although i've never understood its actual use in that sense.
for the most part it seems it's used as i mentioned first.
point is,
if it didn't make a difference then people wouldn't be using it.
and of course i have no issue if it's been used by a serve and volleyer (as frustrating as playing against an 80+ reflex/volley player can be).
in my humble opinion,
using RB button for an approach shot and then not approaching the net falls under the "uncouth/unsportsmanlike/cheesy" category.
what are your opinions?
(and if you could answer the poll honestly, that'd be swell, since it is done anonymously, after all)
