unfortunately i think your right if he can beat nole who he has a slightly less problem beating now and then rafa forget it but still i guess we still need perspective. one final, semis, and quaters dont necessary mean he should hang his racket up as even sampras at 30 wasn't a top three player anymore.fedfan wrote:Nobody gets that lucky to save 2mp two years running.
The luck came in the form that Federer never used to consider losing, now he second guesses and acts human. I would think playing a crap match would be easier to accept than the fact that mentally he couldn't see it through or at least force the breaker after losing serve.

what do you expect from a guy who just lost a match having had two match points veteran or not ask your self if you were in fed's shoes how would you be feeling ? i for one would take the fine and not do the presser because t i know 15 mins or how ever long fed had b4 the presser was never going to be enough time to really come to terms with that kind of loss.coke4 wrote:Wow those comments from federer really arent particularly fair on Djkokovic, if he cant take the shot, just say yeah it was good and move on, no need to dis djokovic so much
How would you feel if you were in the Us open semis and had match point for the final yet still lost ?Moralspain wrote:I hope Federer doesn't feel down, he played a great match against the best player now, and has played an extraordinary tournament, what i'm trying to say is that he's not done yet at all, today Novak was lucky because he hit that all or nothing return and got a winner, from that on everything changed, but Nole, with those 2 MP for Fed, was done, and he did think it was the end.

Would like to see Stosur win as well but I can't see it happening.
