The style of play of the top ten players on the ATP tour should have nothing to do with TS4. S&V shouldn't be gimped on purpose in the game because it's not effective in real life anymore. You make a tennis game from an "All styles should be balanced" perspective.
Lol, I'm pretty sure I know who all the people you are talking about are

.
There is a difference from complaining just for the sake of it, and wanting something to be improved. When people want something improved, their comments can come off as complaints, but the reason behind their "complaints" is what should be looked at. I do not call this complaining, but rather people trying to discuss what can be done about the current system. You may not like it, just like how I find it hard to believe that people can say TS4 is balanced, but that doesn't automatically mean that they are complaining just for complaining sake. You cannot create real life tennis, you can only try to simulate it as much as possible. Addressing these "complaints" would bring us closer and closer.

Did you play TS3?
2k has said, and shown so far, that they are willing to patch TS4. We are trying to avoid a TS3 like scenario where there is 1 clear dominant style, which is looking to be the 84fh 84bh 79pw TI/MD setup, with different variations, right now. It can be hard for certain styles to compete when things like stamina, speed, and reflexes are almost unimportant. There are also other things that need addressing as well. This eliminates a lot of strategy and depth that would be present where most of these issues fixed in some way or the other.
If we all just "took a loss" and accepted it, we would give 2k the impression that TS4 plays just like real life and is perfect the way it is. Far from it.
Most people don't mind losing when on equal footing. Some of us feel like lightweights fighting among heavyweights (TI/MD) right now. No matter how hard you try at times, you still lose because of the outright advantage they start out with. These advantages are magnified when people close in skill play together. People come on here sometimes to vent that anger out, but can you blame them? Seeing your opponent with TI/MD can make you feel like you've lost the match even before the first point if you don't have it. Especially when you start facing good players like puttu puttuu, djarvik, baghdad, anil, etc. If they have that setup, and you don't you're chance of losing skyrockets drastically. It gets annoying time after time losing to people you might have beaten had you used that setup yourself, but not all of us want that. This was 1 of the reasons people quit TS3. So we come here to vent. Hopefully 2k can fix as many problems as possible to reduce user "complaints".
Throughout history, if man just sat down and accepted things the way they are we would not be where we are now.
I'm probably the #1 most hated user on here because of complaints. Lol, I'm sure a poll would verify this.
Lol, looking back at that I will say that maybe that was a bit too long jay. Definitely could have been shorter. I go into rant mode everynow and then without even realizing it.
