I thought he was meant to be a big server with low mobility and groundstrokes such as karlovic (perhaps this is not what you intended) . Oddly enough he moves quite well, his height gives him reach, both in rallies and on returns, which he will smack back thanks to solid groundstrokes and 90 power.
Then again I don't like both him and cannon, power is too effective in this game, so i find they don't fit into the new sim tour.
Just my two cents

I understand your point Alex but If I am honest i think the team have done a good job with the varieties of players, including power players like bashmakov etc.
The simulation part of ITST in my mind is to have a variety of players with different strengths and weaknesses, and bashmakov certainly has a couple. Although i agree perhaps a slightly weaker wing e.g. 50-55 FH would make him a bit more balanced.
I don't really see any weaknesses, but your a 360 player and i've heard hes much more balanced in the xbox version.
I agree about variety. However, on the ps3 tour, 90% of players use, or will use bashmakov or cannon: Wheres the variety?
That is true. The game plays differently on PS3. So we have to optimize for both Consoles.
What do you suggest Alex?
Its hard to suggest anything. Changing bashma and cannons stats in almost any way would make them very similar to already existing set ups. Obviously what I don't like is the power, I beleive 80 should be max power on any player due to its over effectiveness in the game, but that wont happen.
Otherwise, Bashma on ps3 could do with being slower (think karlovic slow), or/and having a weaker wing.
Cannon could spare some power for serve/return/volley (5 points or so,) or otherwise be made shorter, say 185 cm.
I'm gonna get hunted down by all the power players out there
Its just a shame that with such a big roster, everyone uses the same two set ups.
