You pre-press. That's why. You press the shot button before you see what shot is coming. Hard habit to change. And it limits your game a lot, you basically pre-select a shot before you know what shot is coming at you. That is the main reason for players not reacting to the shots...at least that is what I experience.

I hate when that happens on return. You know when you are serving and your opponent returns it right back at you down the centre of the court and then your player just ends up jerking around the court but never attempts to hit the ballHope that made some sense

Same goes for slow slices. Everyone is so obsessed with risk slicesand completely neglects the slow one. It can be a nightmare for riskers and it should be "you best friend" if you want to counter punch.
Ched you started to use the slow slice too recently, nice!adds another dimension to our already rich matches. I like that.
