Winners are overrated. I try and hit as little winners as possible. Hitting straight down the middle works best for it.

Serving? Underarm only. Its the best serve and clearly the way to go.

It actually works against you as well. :P I have been using this tactic since day one. People underestimate a well placed shot in the mid court.

Same goes for slow slices. Everyone is so obsessed with risk slices  and completely neglects the slow one. It can be a nightmare for riskers and it should be "you best friend" if you want to counter punch.

Ched you started to use the slow slice too recently, nice! :tu adds another dimension to our already rich matches. I like that.

I hate when my opponent smacks it straight at me in the middle, especially if we have a bit of lag, my player won't react half the time. :stupd

yeah, it works good for someone who risks, works exceptionally well when hit to a weak side in SIM. Just pop it to the corner and get ready for counter punching. hmm....I do it on auto pilot really. I tap for split second LT, that gives it that "pop up" and charge according the the effect I want on that one.

You pre-press. That's why. You press the shot button before you see what shot is coming. Hard habit to change. And it limits your game a lot, you basically pre-select a shot before you know what shot is coming at you. That is the main reason for players not reacting to the shots...at least that is what I experience.

Yea I do it when normally i expect to reach the next shot easily, to have enough power to end the point without risking. I don't normally outright let it go through me, but either i'll give back a weak shot or risk.

I hate when that happens on return. You know when you are serving and your opponent returns it right back at you down the centre of the court and then your player just ends up jerking around the court but never attempts to hit the ball :x Hope that made some sense

I honestly use all the slices (non risk, LT, and LT+RT), all the time
