His forehand is definitely more 'F' than 'C'. He has a really distinctive forehand though, it does not look like anybody elses.

I think at least for the serve, you should pick up one animation and stick to it. It's just very tough to master different animations and timings.

Yep, good point. I don't think it's a good idea to be constantly switching serves and forehand/backhand animations. Pick one (or two, maybe), and MASTER them.

The timing on all but Nadals serve are very simillar. I can serve well with all but Nadals. Strokes have diferent timing and effects, I dunno, I find it fun to switch them around, they are diferent...but timing is very similar, we taliking about split second diferences.

What really affects the flow of the game for me is height and speed raring. Somehow players tend to move very diferently at different heights. And speed rating is so important for anticipation and positioning...if you are a step later or earlier to the shot, everything changes, timing and aiming changes.

I don't know, I find it really funny when I see Nadal with Rodick's serve and Federers 1H BH

I say if you looking to create a pro, then might as well use the eight animations.

The different FH/BH animations aren't as big a deal as the different service animations. I can only use two animations (A, and Federer's). Completely useless with any other serve, I can't even get the ball in the box.

Rodicks is the easiest to serve with stick. It is so fast that all you have to do is wait for the moment the ball starts to leave your hand on the toss and then push forward the stick. Start aiming a a split second earlier. After a few matches...you be hittin 145s left and right!

Most serves timing is the same....the difference is the preparation before the toss. But you always want to wait for the toss. The timing window is somewhere between the toss and when the ball reaches top height. For slice serves you want to release just before the ball reaches the top, flat - when the ball is at the top and kicks when the ball just starting to go down.

Rodicks serve is best for baseliner, it keeps you on the baseline after you serve....while most other service motions push you one step in. But it is vary hard to serve with buttons with Rodicks serve, so basically all your serves are sticks....the returner will pick up the timing after few games and will start pressuring you.....with such a quick motion, pressure is not something you want...you start mistiming it.

Serve A is the best for serve and vollier, it really puts you almost 3 step in the court.

But what I want to learn is Nadals serve. Not many (if any) people are using it and I always have the most problems returning it, if I run into someone who can put some direction on it. I got the timing for risk down....but not direction yet...

i used to use nadal's serve motion.......you have to stick serve....the buttons are almost impossible...and you have to put some serious action on it....if you try and fluidly serve like all the other animations it will be too slow and have no direction.....the quicker you spin the analog in the half circle it gives you more direction....nadals serve motion by far has the best slice and kick, not very good for a flat serve though.

Hey, guys, what stats would you give a SIM Nadal?

FH:75
BH:68
SV:64
RT:74
VL:62
PW:74
SP:78
ST:84

It would be hard to find stats for him, he is very good at everything. You would just have to downgrade his stats a bit :(
These stats currently add up to 579, anyone got any suggestions to reduce his stats?

with power that low....you did the right thing by increasing the stamina(i would say to swith the speed to 84 and stamina to 73) and speed, but you also need a pretty reliable and powerful wing...thats why i put the forehand on 79....84 on speed and 73 stamina you can chase everything down, i think his volley is nice, but 55 should be good after you pull someone off the court with spin...72 on return is PLENTY, and i think you had his serve wayyyy to high.....55 maximum on nadals serve----my recommended stats add up to 560

Seems nice, i had his serve that high because his Serve has improved drastically this year.

Anybody got stats on the Djoker?

FH:68
BH:82
SV:71
RT:69
VO:58
PW:72
SP:77

You think this seems awrite? Power like that means he can attack, but his speed means he can defend aswell, like real life. His stamina means that he can only purely defend for so long vs an attacker. His forehand isnt too high, but with the power stat and risk means he can farely boom the ball about the court from that side. His bakchand was the only stat i felt warranted an orange, because it is particlarly consistent. It could also be a real weapon with risk

My Nadal
FH:81
BH:72
SV:57
RT:52
VL:50
PW:70
SP:88
ST:90
He works great. It's like Emate said, you got to play to your stats and not force your game on the stats.

He may feel soft for the first half a set....but trust me, he will feel powerful once your opponent is in red. And you will never be in red.

Try.

Biggest challenge is to learn to mix and place serve....it gets easy from there.
