I think the biggest problem is that people are unwilling to try.
There is a learning curve, to overcome that weaker wing, or that low power, or high volley skill.
I have seen many guys it WT and ITST that have weaker wings, but they just hit from that side as thou it is not weak, try to play cross to your stronger side.... they don't strategize, they really play a "better" version of an old ping pong game. etc...
I have also seen players that use low power/high speed/stamina. And most of them try to finish the point too early. Or risk return the serve when the server is way in red, and miss....giving a breather to server. etc...
I have seen players with decent allocation of points for volley, just to never come to net!!! WHY???? etc....
And my favorite and most common, power guys that just don't play or know tennis at all. In their mind all that is important is power, more power and .....I will try to be original here....POWER! lol Hitting every shot hard into the court...."so what if you 2 feet away, so you close enough to reach, but I will hit it so hard, that your raquet will break if you try to answer". etc...
Ladies and gentlemen, these are examples of a great game, fun, entertaining. But please.....don't call it Tennis, it just ain't!!!!
Stop hiding behind the stats, come out of the closet!
I am not saying we should, change the rules, well maybe I am, LOL, I am saying try and play a tennis match, or something that is close to it.... it is a very entertaining game if fact, the original Concept that makes you follow the ATP and that made you go out and buy a tennis video game!
I am done!
P.S. Yes I know it is just a video game, but when I bought it, when I was waiting for it to come out...what appealed to me THE MOST about TS3, was the fact that THIS GAME will be the closest to reality, this game will be the true tennis sim...it was hipped as such and it delivered! ...with its problems, but it did deliver! Enjoy it.
Don't try to tell me you bought this game Hoping it will be just another arcade tennis.
