Murray 25 winners
Djokovic 21 winners....

So samael..... he can be aggresive when he wants :)

considering murray won way more points than djokovic and djokovic played poorly that is poor

I hate all this..... Djokovic/Federer/Nadal/Del Potro/the rest of the Atp tour, Played poorly against murray...... then why is he winning these tourneys?? its not because ALL his opponents played badly.... just he mixes the shots and is very smart and makes players hit shots they wouldnt normally....

So give credit for once at the sheer genious or murrays game, it may not be power hitting but its very smart and very effective...

did you watch the match, wen djokovic actually played well he owned murray, he just cant find his form. Del potro at his best cant beat murray

i disagree with that, del potro had played 3 hours vs nadal de day before he clearly wasn't at his best physical condition to play vs murray and he still managed to take a set from him.

I dont remember Murray smashing rackets in frustration in recent years..... do you??

Honestly? Yes. I'm a Murray fan but yes, I've seen him smash racquets.

In Murray's defense, he seems to have matured quite a bit over the past 10-12 months, though I'm not sure if he is behaving better because he is winning, or winning because he is behaving better. :?:

Okay well bottom line is, Federer has not done this in 4 years, and he's basically epitomized 'good sportsmanship' since that time. Let's cut the guy a break. Nobody wants to lose to a guy who looks like Big Bird.

HAHAHA weird, I thought the same thing. I was trying to choose between two Big Bird pictures, and the flower did it for me.

Out of his 25 winners, The Mutant scored at least 30% with passing shots ( indeed, some amazing, short cross court passing shots)and the rest with counter-shots... But remember, when IT ( it's not human) tried to take the initiative, he missed lamentably( in the start of the second set, when IT really needed to play more offensive as Djokovic was gaining some momentum). So, i think that this Mutant of tennis is a real disgrace to the history and reputation of this sport. :(

Ok, Master. I'm sorry my point is beyond your understanding. The Mutant survives only by defending and, when IT has to attack, IT doesn't know how to do that... IT doesn't have the necessary arsenal. Tell me one match in which IT was offensive and didnt wait for his opponent's error ( beside the US OPEN SF against Nadal, which i didn't see). And please spare me with something like: " HE ( IT) doesn't have to attack in order to win." One single match. And with arguments. EH? PS: I don't know any other player in the ATP tour to play so defensive and ugly for the eye. What is IT'S best shot? How does IT win matches? Would any of you ( beside the British) like IT to be no 1? If that happens, tennis will be as watched as curling or... or... field hockey! Italian CATENACCIO= THE MUTANT'S STYLE OF PLAY. This is my point of view and i am sure some of you share it. For the others, just give me a break! Take IT and stick IT in your posterior!

What are you talking about? A disgrace?

How long have you been a tennis fan? Do you remember the attitudes of some of the "legends" of tennis who are now idolized? Go back 15-20 years and watch some matches, and then tell me how anybody on the tour right now is a disgrace.

The part with disgrace is an overreaction from my side. I'm so frustrated that this player is winning more and more. :D I hate him with all my body.

Samael , I play with people like this OFTEN in the league . yes they are boring to watch , yes people come and tell me I played better , yet they win !

Defensive play in real tennis wins , lobing the ball as a defensive tool is effective and that is why I defend it's use in TS2 , I play with people that don't care about hitting a winner , they care about giving you the kind of ball you have the most trouble hitting .

I am afraid that agressive tennis may be comming to an end if Murray becomes number 1 , and he may if he keeps playing.

Now look at Borg , Borg used to lob everything up from baseline to baseline , other players hated him ,yet he won grand slams and masters , and he laughed all the way to the bank at people that called him cheese player.
