well ive found that in real tennis it is important to be confident, so why not on this tour.....haha

when i go into a match thinking im the underdog on ts3 i play stupid.....

i dont mean to come off as cocky, just confident .....

and i know that im not close to being the best, but u never know wat practice can do, especially on topspin 3

exactly. and when you have the basics from ts3 . and much much time for training .that can bring you fast forward-- thats for shure

I've just played my best match so far. It was against SoundfSilence.

He was playing his Agassi character, I was playing my John Doe baseliner character (not serve&volleying for a change). Both realistic setups (FH/BH/Power 80/80/80 vs 90/70/75 and both decent speed and stamina).

I took a quick 5-0 lead (well... 2nd game took ages) but then he really upped his game and fought back to 5-3 before I took the set 6-3.

Then in the 2nd set I took an early break, but halfway the set I lost my serve. It ended up in a tiebreak (after him having a setpoint on 5-6, my serve), in which SoundfSilence took a 6-2 lead, but somehow I managed to comeback to 6-6, only to go behind 6-7 again. Then took the point to make it 7-7.
In the next rally I slightly had the upperhand, but with a magnificent forehand he took the point to get his 7th setpoint. Again he didn't convert it. And then I went on to take the set and the match 6-3 7-6(8.)

Great fun, lots of rallies, the balls just kept coming back as we both only occassionally used risk.
Serve-percentages were even realistic, both between 50-70%.

Really great fun to play with those setups!

What a great match! Shame I couldn't stretch you to 3 sets, but the way you saved those set-points in the tie break... Incredible!

I really felt like I was Andre Agassi in some of those rallies That was real clay court tennis. I look forward to having more memorable matches and hopefully I'll get you back (Since he also beat me last week, using Serve and Volley characters, I think the score was 6 - 3, 6 - 4, just a break of serve in each set). I also really enjoyed that match, very realistic serve and volley play.[/list]

Scored my best result yet - over the world #1 Swifty no less Pity it was only an exhibition but hopefully I can gain some confidence from it that will help me in itst matches. Score was 7-6 4-6 7-6 and it was quite a strange match. I was fighting for dear life to hold on to most of my service games in the first set. Swifty had around 6 break points chances in that set but fortunately I was able to fight them off. I got broken early in the second set but the third set was very evenly matched right to the end.

I played Rob last night, he was using a baseline character, not his serve and volley. Beat him 6-3, 6-2 and then he beat me 6-7, 7-6 6-4, i think. Also played djarvik on clay and lost 6-7,7-6, 6-4. Could have one in second set tiebreak but didnt. Both were fun matches

You and I had a close match....but those other guys are NIGHTMARES to play against...thought I'd just warn you:)

no offense balkan but i played u after playing the game for like 7 days after a 6 month break,,,,,so i am slowly gaining steam, i split sets retos after like 3 days of playing so i do think that i have the skill

there is no offence:)

But for the record...I had a two month break....i played against mack right before you, and he gave me some tips for a better character. So I made one. Upped my speed and service, but sacrificed my fh and bh...had only 73 on those. And the first time I played with that character was against you...so I guess I did pretty well:)

I played last night against Amazing Zizou and won 4/6 7/5 a super tiebreak 10/4. It was a very good match but honestly i have to say that Amazing Zizou were on drugs . Play today rematch so i will tell you guys how i loosed ag him

Coolhand Texas - you played extremely well. I know now, that a lot of players here will have a Very tough time playing you.... your game is very solid, your movement is deceptively good. Anyone who players you, needs to be able to adjust in mid game, not a lot of people can do that, most just follow one plan.

You will be a nightmare for some players as a Match Up.

I am waiting for you in TOP 20!

Oh that's for sure. I thought we was hitting risk shot especially when defending..his shot were that good. Then I asked him, and he said he barely used risks...and i was like WOW

Had another exhibition match against TomBs, and a lot of fun it was. Very tense tennis, he edged it again at 6 - 3, 7 - 5.

We both used realistic baseliners, I used Srichaphan against his Doe character. The first game took ages, where I had chances to break... Nevertheless, he held tight, then took the momentum to race into 4 - 0 lead (similar to our last match LOL)

I managed to get a bit of rhythm back, it got to 5 - 3, and I think he broke me to take it to 6 - 3.

I had the upper had in the 2nd set, and serving for the set at 5 - 4, he broke! Again, took all the momentum at went 7 - 5.

Extremely close stats at the end, but he won the big points. Unforced errors were low, both had similar winners.. and he converted 5/18 breakpoints, where I converted only 3/17 (something like that).

Great fun. Well, hope I can report a win on here soon against TomBs LOL

Did djarvik use his new baseline character with like 90 speed and more power? I played verse him last night 4-6,4-6, but i was using a new service motion and did not have the techinque down yet.
