Perhaps it's a lil bit extravagant, but I mean why not? A new Top Spin only comes out all 2 to 3 Years and I am a big Fan of the series.
I believe what Nick is trying to say is that it doesn't make much sense to be playing the same exact game on different consoles, unless there's some major differences which doesn't seem to be the case here.
(talking about 360 <> PS3, not talking about the Wii)
I mean after you do everything there is to do with the single player, and then hit online matches and are done with it too... what are you gonna do? start all over from scratch on another console?
Why not just continue playing on the first console where you started and improve your gaming score or whatever...
But hey, do what you feel is right
My Plan looks like this. I wanna start playing the Game on Xbox 360 until I found everything out. So soon I know more about the Playercreation in TS3 I will start playing the Game and create a Character on the PS3 too.
For me it's all about the Onlinegaming in TS3. I want to be present on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network.
I don't how much sense it will make at the end, but hey if got the Option to try it so why I shouldn't?
And if have enough from both Versions I can sell one Copy anytime I want.
It's like I said, Top Spin3 will stay the only Game that I buy for both Systems. So I can see how different the 360 and PS3 Version really is too and can tell you Guys something about it.

BTW here is Picture from my new Setup. The 360 is still on top.
