Want to start on TE2013 tour. I have a mac. please help!!

I want to start using the tennis elbow tour. Is it still going strong?
I have a mac and do not have windows yet as i really dont know what i have to do. it all looks really complicated.
So i need to buy windows?
Then i need to buy Tennis elbow 2013 for pc?
then i need to buy xbox 360 wireless thing so i can use the xbox controller in game?

is there a way to get windows as a download so i can do it today?
i know i sound like a newbie but ive been part of ITST for years as AndyMurray ITST (i forgot my password so had to re-register) so please help!!!

A:STILL? lol It's accelerating dude. When I joined there were only 131 players ranked. Now there is 238. Of course not everybody plays tournament every week... but i've made my point.

A:No don't buy. it's expensive=upwards of 100€. Save your money. Instead go to this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ie/wind ... w-download. Download 64-bit version of windows. It's legitimate from official microsoft website. Expiry date for this is 16th of January 2014. So you'll have plenty of time to test windows, test this game whether you like it or not.

I assume you've 4gb usb stick. Makes process so much easier.

Term you're looking for to google is called: "dual boot windows 8 and mac os x". You can watch youtube videos and follow the instructions.

A: Of course you have to buy it. Costs 19 euro.

A: No. this game plays just fine on keyboard. In fact you'll lose some milliseconds when you play with controller.

i have the new iMac (the one without the DVd drive), so i couldn't buy a windows disk anyway! i also have mountain lion version 10.8.4
I have bootcamp assistant on my machine already. do i just follow this?

What's a disk? I buy every software from online and download it. I don't use macs and I do have a dvd drive, but buying online is more convenient.

Again, I never used mac so I don't how exactly it works. But I know one thing. Windows 8 won't destroy your computer. You'll have mac and windows 8 side by side. You can choose which one to boot in the boot menu.

I think you pretty much just have to follow what it says. Just make sure you give windows 8 more than 40gb of space.

Check:
64-bit windows.
have product key written somewhere.
have wi-fi password by your side.

Thanks so much for helping....its taking me ages! im finally on windows 8 and ive bought tennis elbow. How do I get the itst update for the game and also there seems to be no online option in the game? how does this work? thankyou so much for being extra patient!

Hey Andy Murray I remember you I think on TS4 you played at the beginning of the tour
I play on a Mac as well and it works like a charm with Bootcamp. Personally I've a company version of Windows XP a friend gave me several years ago. I think you could get it for free on Internet, just check a bit

Hi!! yeah i used to love playing on itst tour but fancy getting back into it with tennis elbow!Do you know how to add the itst features? If i add the itst features do i lose the offline career mode??

Check:
You've windows 8.1 installed and it's working? (you can use internet, visit websites)

You downloaded latest TE13 from here? http://www.managames.com/Forum/topic15-12146.php

You downloaded latest ITST 1.15 mod from here? viewtopic.php?f=1047&t=16709

If you install the mod correctly step-by-step as written you'll have it working in no time.
And yes you'll lose offline world tour if you install this mod. Not that you'll lose it, but things will be locked and you won't enjoy it much.
You can install this game many times so it's fine to have it installed in 2-3 locations.
When you install the game, there should be network menu. I mean there aren't many buttons that will confuse, so you'd lose yourself in navigating.

BTW after you've finished everything and can join other people, you'd still have to open your ports from router.

@C4ill. Don't advice people to get XP. XP won't be supported by Microsoft from 2014. Just let this guy enjoy, latest bleeding edge OS.

Ok thanks. When u say u can install it in many locations do u mean i can have both versions at once. So the original game with offline and then the itst modded online somewhere else? Do u mean a separate hard drive?

yes you can install this game in many folders. You just have to make a different folder
For example i've 2 installed. C:program files/tennis elbow 2013 and c:program files/tennis elbow 2013-2.

this is useful because you can try other mods as well from managames. but at the end ITST mod is the most solid, great for offline sets and matches as well.
