I played here since 1 1/2 Years but now i must say, i have no Fun here anymore.

Why?

I love S&V. And after a Drop Shot/Lob Game against GeilerPferd i played today after djmorgancooper.

I lost 6:7, 6:7, 3:6. The first games in first Set he plays normal. Than he knows that is hard to break me. After that, he plays Lobs after Lobs (with Lob-Returns!!!). First Set Tiebreak i become 1 Minibreak (Lob). Second Set the same but 2 Minibreaks (Lobs). And the Break in thrid Set was 2 Lobs and a good passing shot. So, i played 1 Hour and loose by cheesy shots.

It´s like the Movie "Groundhog Day". Every Game i played against Lobs. Not against unbelievable skilled Players. Only this shot let me loose. And i have no passion to spend so much lifetime for Games, which i can not win.

S&V Players have not a really chance to win here. And the Host make nothing agsinst it. C4ill has left Topspin and i am the next S&V Player. So now is yova PR v3 the last S&V Player here.

It´s so frustrating that Shots like Drops Shots, which are hard to play, are not allowed and Lobs can played near every ralley.

S&V Players can not Break good Baseliners. Because the Stats in Wings, Stamina, Power are a Joke. And when than the Baseliners can play Lobs, it´s impossible to win against good guys.

But, this is a Fight against Windmills here. And when the Hosts nothing do against, i say Goodbye and wish to have Fun with all Neuwirth an Rabary Coaches....

I think I will retire because my xbox cant read my top spin 4 game .. I've bought the game two times(twice) and I dont want to buy a new game so I retire too(If I dont change my opinion). Good Luck and enjoy as I've enjoyed with this magnificent game

Daxter...you should PM the host of the tournament and let them know EXACTLY what happened...people have been banned for cheesy play...the worst thing that could happen is you would have to play another third set or entire match. It's frustrating to play against players when they make cheap shots but quitting will only allow them to continue...they have to realize they cannot use that type of strategy here.

I've bought several discs too...I finally decided to download the game through Xbox Marketplace on my harddrive...now I never have to worry about replacing it.

Lobs are cheesy play i think, but the Hosts didn´t do anything against that and everybody used it...

Excessive lobs...especially if your opponent was returning your serve using lobs is cheesy...you should report any and all concerns to your host. The same as excessive dropshots.

Yes, thats i say since 1 Year. But it´s allowed. You can play so many Lobs you like.

sad to hear that the next S&V player leaves itst.
Maybe you have seen my discussion about my shanghai final? After that I was in the same situation like you.
I was really thinking about leaving itst but the problem is not the itst team. What can they do against cheesy or lying players? They can’t see our matches…and then they have two players who say two different things and they have to make a decision who says the truth. That’s nearly impossible. But in the end the concept from this site is great and I am sure that here you can have much more great matches and over all a better time than in the World tour. I say stay!

Daxter, instead of posting here first, u could have sent me a message on xbox live.

I made some lob but most of my shot when u were at the net was power shot and especially lift shot. U used a 100 serv character and refuse to play the game fair.

In fact, on all my game, all the time i was 30/0, u stop playing, it was ridiculous. I can prove it so stop complaining

U change ur gameplan with serve volley player because u can simply not compete on the baseline with most of the player in here. When u use nadal or agassi against me while i had borg, i won the second set 6/0 in both match.

I won 24 points more than u and deserve the win, and i didn't try to lob u on most of break point i had.

So be a man, practise and stop complaining (and don't play like a child on serve opponent each time he leads 30/0 or 40/15)

I stop playing at 0-30. Yes. Why? Because i must save stamina. It´s hard to win Breaks with 50 Wings. And when i had 0-30, i can not run to every Ball, because my stamina in next Service Game is important. (and a lot of Service Games to play.... Best of 5!!!!)

So, before you say i must train, please try it and play one Tournament as S&V Player.

And when i can not Play, why have C4ill retire? He says the same like me. But okay... S&V Players are so overpowered and the baseliners have no weapons against us...

I never say that you have played unfair. You make all legal things that are allowed.
But thats the Problem. Not the Opponents, they played well. But the rules. Cheesy Lobs are allowed and thats the Problem.

I understand even if it's not funny to see someone who gave up after two points on 60% of my games.

And u can't sayi made some lob on serve return because u know it's absolutely wrong, i don't even made one.

U shouldn't quit, use a baseline player, it's maybe less funny but u will have more chance and we can train together if u want. GG anyway

The matter is simple.

TS4 isn't fit for Serve and Volley. And from this point of view, you must admit it's very realistic.
I can understand the complaints of Daxter about the difficult of playing S&V, but nobody can do nothing about that, admins included.
I'm talking about using lobs when the opponent is at the net: these are absolutely normal shots.

And that's all. Period.
Sad but true. I also like S&V (not as a permanent and unique style of playing, but I like it), but I early understood that TS4 wasn't good for it, so fine, just go on.

I'm sorry you're leaving Daxter, it's like a "stall" situation, some sort of Mexican standoff, nobody can do nothing, I repeat.
