C4iLL,
it might be due to having a rally strike anim with too long preparation (as nothing changed in the game about that since more than 1 year). I'd need to see a video + .dmo to check it.

I think you can find that bug in all my matches ; there are several .dmo of my matches in the section dedicated (surely against Fox or Elias you could see it).

I especially lost at Shanghai first round because of that : 2 animations bug on the tie-break third set. Too bad I don't have the record ^^

C4ill, I noticed something playing you. Somehow, when I played you, the Aiming sensitivity was the highest ever. I could tap the direction and the ball would go out. Extremely sensitive. Also, on returns and some shots, they would Float even if I was there well on time and making good contact. I have no idea what happened, likely Lag, but it was definitely not the norm. I was hoping Manu can comment on this?

And yes, I saw some of your shots being "loopy" so it is there. It was just a weird feeling. BTW - do you have it with other players? Like Lopez etc..... maybe this is Player Specific issue that triggers this.

Hope we can fix this.

This is the effect of high delay. I think you played right after I played against C4iLL. The ping was unusually high for playing someone from France (it was 150ms and Auto-Delay resulted in 400ms). I asked C4iLL to set it 167ms or 184ms, he chose the higher delay. My ping to Paris is usually around 60 to 70 ms and I tested it before the match -- it was around 70ms. I also pinged C4iLL's IP after the match and it was still around those 150ms, only a couple of hours later it was around 65ms. So, I guess it was just some temporal issue.

Now back to delay. The higher the delay, the earlier you have to prepare all your shots. Those playing and returning quite a good bit behind the baseline won't notice it that much, because they charge longer for their shots than someone standing close to the baseline. The latter will have worse shots, the aiming zone becomes large (i.e. quite sensitive) and thus you'll either see unusual errors or shots landing shorter and not close to the lines. Or on return, you will not hit quality returns from standard position when the delay is high. You basically have to stand far behind to have plenty of time to hold the shot button, then you get a good shot. It forces you to play a different game, a different style. On the other hand, this leads to those floaty returns when returning from standard position.

Auto-Delay takes the highest Ping before the match and adds 15ms. So, it can be 250ms even if the average ping is 150ms (in case of a rather unstable connection). The host of the match can set the delay manually. It should at least be half the ping. If you set it too low manually, it can result in lag, so one has to find the perfect value with specific opponents. Against MichaelD for instance, the ping was at around 240ms average. I set delay to 167ms and it was good conditions to play in (also due to stable connections from both sides).

400ms of autodelay... oh my, that's why you should always set it manually.

Interesting things about pings. In my situation, it could also be explained by the fact i'm using wifi ?

@Everybody,
"Game creation" section here explains what happens with high Delay : http://www.managames.com/tennis/doc/Ten ... ml#network .
Basically, there's an input Dead Zone before you hit the ball, that lasts longer when the Delay is higher.
The sensibility of aiming isn't changed by high Delay per se, but if you release left/right before hitting the ball, it can be ignored, thus you should learn to aim without releasing left/right before hitting the ball.

Playing with Wifi can add 50ms to 100ms to the ping, so it's highly recommended to play wired.

C4iLL,
sorry, I forgot to specify in my previous message... I'd need a .dmo where it happens in the 1st few games, and I also need to know on what exact points it happened (so I don't have to watch the whole match ;) ).

Hi Elias and others

I created a new animation for the forehand volley, based on Roger Federer...Could you test it ingame to see if there's any gameplay issue; it is a very sensitive animation so it has to be done right

Here's the link:

By the way Elias, for the next update of the patch, are you considering to insert some of my new animations like:
- Federer's Forehand
- Federer's Serve (which I still have to finish it though)...any suggestion is welcomed
- Federer's return of serve and "wait animation"
- Nalbandian's Forehand

Of course, only if you like them ! Personally I think they're all good and I'd really love to use them in the tour

The next update is in the works and the main focus will be the Animations. We will definitely look at all available and try to include as much as possible, providing they go through the testing with good results.

Looking forward to the new patch  (but only if you make Fed weaker  )

Anyway, can you help me a bit with a small issue? I like to change a outit for my players and I am doing it quite often, everthing worked fine but now when I change outfit or setting (court, number of sets etc.) it is not saved. For example, I got berdych with green shirt, 3 sets, Kremlin cup. I change it to yellow shirt, 1 set, Valencia open. Then I play online match and turn off ITST. When I turn on ITST again I see berdych with green shirt, Kremlin cup and 3 sets....

What to do to save my settings? It used to work fine. Thanks

Hello, this may be answerd elsewhere so sorry in advance.
How do i switch outfits using the ITST mod since you say to not use outfit codes?

For e.g when I load Federer, ive got his roland garros outfit already on. But if I want to change it how is it done?

I usually just use outfit codes.
