Congrats to MichaelD, it was a great game and very enjoyable. We set Delay to 167ms, which made it playable very well, timing was there on shots and serve, no complaints whatsoever.

In the first set, I was the first one to have break points, but with Federer's serve he managed to save it and somehow I was broken at 2-2. Then in the following game, I get to 0-40... Ace, ace, predictable return on second serve and gone are three chances. I got one more, but saved again from him and at advantage for him there was a connection problem -- we rehosted and got back to this point. He held for 4-2 and up to him serving for the set at 5-4 it was all on serve, but I managed to break him! It went to a tie break, where I played a too cautious first point, a 34 shots rally. Quickly I was down 3-0, managed to get back to 4-4 and finally lost the tie break 4-7.

Second set, I continued as I did in the first set: Taking shots early, attacking and it paid off -- MichaelD finally lost a set again.

In the third set, he upped his level: Couldn't do anything on his serve anymore and thus I got served a breadstick late at night.

As I said: Great game, good luck in the final! I'm happy with this result, I think that's the best I could do with Melzer. The stats are a bit tainted due to interruption in the first set, but you can find the .dmo files in the media section.

Semi-final : Spencercarlos vs C4ILL = 6-4 6-4.
This was my third semi-final in a row and... My third semi-final lost in a row

Globally my level was pretty good, but Carlos was clearly amazing, especially in the second set.

First set : it was very balanced throughout all the set, he broke me just because of stupid mistakes from me. I was not far from breaking back, but I didn't suceed. During this set he played at the same level he had when I beat him in a previous tournament I think so we were very close in the exchanges.

Second set : he increased his level and on his service, it was a nightmare to score a point ! He often won it 40-0 or 40-15, because he always hit the lines.

And on my service, it was always difficult, like 30-a situations. I however managed to go to 5-4. But at that moment, I made 2 or 3 double fauts, and as he put a lot of pressure troughout the whole set, I failed, and he won 6-4.

Congratulations for this amazing second set, because I've rarely seen someone playing as well as that, hitting so regularly the lines ^^

Great win, not much i can say. Matches with C4ill are always huge pressure, because you feel he can hold serve easily and he put the pressure on your on returns. I was really solid today, we were on serve until at 2-2 i broke for a 3-2 lead and the set pretty much ended with both players holding serve, i had chances to break at 3-5 0-30 but he got out of it really well.

I was very calm today, i had little more on the serve than last time and i was able to vary the pace, spin and placement so that allowed me to start the rallies with offense most of the times, and today i was really good on ongetting out of difficult situations when he was having advantage in rallies.

The second set as he said, i played unbelievable tennis, i was able to serve better and moved the ball around. On returns i was having chances early on, a couple of 0-30 games but once again he saved them, until at 4-4, a game he had a 40-15 lead i crawled my way back into the game and got the break. Been patience on his service games worked this time around i must say, still the match was close, at least with C4ill, there is no time in the match when you feel you are in control.

Now another match with Michael i hope not to get bageled, he is on a roll and plays the kind of game i hate
