Genova, Italy 10+ is already full, but we need 4 more to fill the Shanghai 1, China 10+

Remember, these are open for ranked 10+ so we will have two new title winners next week!

Good luck everyone!

Wow, even for a Challenger I count 9 out of 16 players using Murray, Djokovic or Federer. We have one each of Ferrer, del Potro and Dolgopolov, who are also on par with them. Guess we can bury half the roster.

There is some more variation in the second challenger. The new guys mainly go with Federer which i guess is understandable. Personally i went with Djokovic cause i am in between characters at the moment. Not sure yet who to play with after i abandoned Tsonga.

Robbin92 (Baghdatis) 6-4 6-3 Kono (Ferrer)

The first appearance of Baghdatis on the ITST tour and thus his first win on the tour.
In the beginning of the match we played a lot of long rallies (up to 47 strikes) and I noticed that my stamina would kill me in such rallies. I decided to play with some more risk and going more for the lines to keep the rallies shorter.
Kono fighted hard and managed to keep it up till 4-4. There I could place the first break of the match and serve it out.

In the second set I broke in the first game, mainly due to two double faults of Kono who decided to serve his second with more risk. After that I only focused on my service games and letting go his service to save stamina. My service games got closer and closer. Kono created one break chance, but three good services granted me the game. Have to give my opponent compliments for his game. If he improves his returning a bit he can be, especially on clay, a dangerous opponent to everyone.

Thanks man, I really appreciate your words.

You are right about my returning, I don't know what it is sometimes, when I kinda lose the ball from my eyesight when it's coming and then it is too late to do anything. Happened few times with your 2nd serves also. It's like the ball disappears somewhere and then it comes from nowhere.. But I just have to train more and more and hopefully my returns improve.

You were better as the scoreline shows, I'm happy that you will soon be in top ten and you can't play Challengers anymore

Genova is clay

For Shangaï, there is a Shangaï court in ITST Mod so let's use it (it's Blue/Green Cement btw), or use any Blue/Green cement court.

G.Dimitrov(Federer) def. tonigno(Ferrer) 6/3 6/1

Well, it was pretty laggy, because we played in rush hour and Tennis Elbow was overload. I can't remember this match pretty well, because we played it Friday, but he is good player. You can watch the replay, which is post in the media center.

G.Dimitrov(Federer) def. L Sanchez MD(Wawrinka) 6/3 6/1

It was a good match with a lot of net rushing. In the first set I broke him in the first game and I only had to hold on my service, that is what I did. It was hard to break him again, because he was volleying great. At the end I managed to break him again and I served on the start of the second set. He was playing worse on the net and serving worse in the second set than in the the first one and I started to serve, volley and return great, so I broke him again twice and I won.
Maybe if he improve his serving and volley like he did in the first set he will be much better. :) My first final. :P

G.Dimitrov (BUL) (Federer) def. El Croato (Federer) 6/4 *3/4 ret.

First I want to say that this is my first TITLE. :c :yikes 8) Before of the start of the game, we had some connection problems - we couldn't see each other in the game, then we tried with hamachi with no success. Then I asked him to restart out computers and routers, we done it and then when he host, I joined him and we started to play. :)
I broke him at 2-1* and after this I was concentrated only on my serve and I was serving really good and I won the first set. Second set he started to play really well, serving better and hitting the lines a lot, at the same time I didn't lost my concentration and we went to *3-4 30-30, when suddendly the connection lost, then we tried with hamachi, restarting everything and etc, but we didn't see each other, then I asked him to try after 1h and 30m, but he told me that he retired and he greeted me about my first title, I asked him if he is sure and he said that he is.

El Croato is great person and player and I think that he can make some great things in our tour, he was in the final in his first tournament. So good luck dude and have fun! :c
I dedicate my first title to C4iLL(Terminator), Ugadalou, Marco Theo, to my team - Predators and the person, who is making the game to be so good - Elias. :) :c :c

Geneva final: Spencercarlos def Knight 6-1 6-0

Summary: Well we all know that Knight is on a trip and he knew he had to borrow a racket to play this match and it could be difficult (lag).

At least in the first set it was playable more or less, i played very well despite the conditions and he had tons of trouble adapting to them. I ran away with the first 5 games of the match, but he played better at the end of the set and points became longer and constested.

The second set started with more troubles for him (more lag than before + his controller battery died) but we continued to play, i was able to held the same patter of game of set 1 and i was barely making mistakes and he made tons.

Thanks for Knight for playing this match, since we were kind of delayed, but i told him we could play in the weekend if it was that bad, he opted to continue, and i even offered at 6-1 2-0 to postpone it and continue in the weekend and he was a sportsman, so i congratutale him for that. I am sure we will play in the future bar all of this bad conditions.

I am very happy for this title and i hope to continue in this tour :D
