Is this a glitch?

Hello, a few days back i played a certain 98/98 player who told me that i exploited a ´´massive glitch`` in the game, this is what he told me:

When im attacking(not serving) you do a defensive shot and push me back, that is a massive glitch and you exploit it.

Ok, is that a glitch??? cause if thats a glitch im the glichiest player on ITST...

Are you talking about the very high lift ?

If you are, I don't think it's a glitch, but it's very unrealistic and annoying because you can't finish the point at the net

No, its like he´s attacking me from the back court and i do a control top spin deep or something like that.

Once in a while something happens to me in a rally where an opponent will hit it and the game will just "take control of my player" and start making me wander back further and further or away from where I am trying to move. It's similar a I guess to what is described in "the glitch return," leading me to believe that there are certain glitches that are not confined to returns. I have serious doubts as to whether any of them are intentionally utilized, however. I think it's just bad luck!

I'm not sure if this is similar at all to your situation, but it's one that occasionally will frustrate me.

this happened with me recently.. my opponent standing behind the baseline.. i almost hit a winner everytime when suddenly he hits very high bounce topspin to the middle of the court everytime and then takes control of the rally

Same thing happens to me, I hit a deep topspin shot and the opponent moves back. I always figured it happened because it is a really deep shot that the opponent has to move back to hit.

I honestly think this is the attacking guy fault from bad positioning or low speed because this never happens to me when im attacking.

It happens to me sometimes, too. The player move back 3 meters from the baseline like in the glitch return and you can't do anything. I think that yes, is a glitch, but i don't know if you can do it on porpouse... Maybe yes.

However, 98/98 setup is worst than any glitch!!

Honestly i hit that shot often, as a defensive player i use to hit control shots with the b button so when my opponents rush the net that scenario described on the thread happens, i don't know how to do it on purpose but yep it happens.
Completely fair and no cheesy at all if you ask me

U Brought this out in the forum (the reason btw why he is bringing this out days after our frndly match is because I finally bt him and he still cnt get over it) and hopefully with the responses u cn see that it is a very annoying and very unrealistic part in ur game. It has nothing to do with my positioning but anyone who xploits the glitch can destroy me. U bash me on xbox live after I beat u in one of our always v close sets and rip apart my game saying that I am untalented, useless etc. Every time I lose I respktfly praise ur game and don't complain.

It has nothing to do with well timed control shots. Ur angles are good but so r other players. The shot I am talking about is a mistake in game programming. I am about to finish the point and u just lunge to the ball. One wud expect a weak shot so tht I cn finally put it away but instead u hit a fake aggressive typ of lob that sends my player to the baseline and allows u to reposition.

In real life I would move forward to these frankly spking stupid shots and hit a drive forehand....but my player is auto positioned to the baseline.

I am simply pointing out a fact here and not lking for a forum fight.

Im sorry my defensive shot dont stay short you know, they dont have to i can aim deep but i can understand why you saying this because most people defensive shots are short... but mine arent sorry so arent Norberto and a load of other good defensive players, we know how to aim.

Honestly man playing the 360 tour is not fun anymore for me and now i cant make a deep shot and its a glitch? are hearing yourself? programing error? seriously a deep shots a programming error?

I dont even feel like playing anymore against 98/98, 100 power or 100 volley is way more fun play against Sh0case, Fifa Tee, Baghdad and Khult.

Actually i only play 3-4 feet behind the baseline when i play a 98/98 or 100 power guy and as soon as i get a chance i pressure him and finish at the net(anyone who´ve plyed me would know that but then again you havent and you´re talking like you´ve played me 10 times already) an try to take control of the rallies and keep my opponent moving.
