I missed about 10 in a US Open WS match in 09 that I still vaguely remember. I was in good form then too with a RG semi and Wimbledon Final behind me, that hurt for sure.

Wow....thats really tough Tamthewasp :-O I would have gone crazy....

Hm, the most thing where I was very angry was at a match against my friend Zooloo, since you have not so many chances to win a set against him hehe....

In the 1st Set I was up to a 5/3 lead with 40:00 in my back and 3 setpoints...But then he played unbelievable and won the set.
In the second set I was up 5/4 and I had again some setpoints and again, he fought back and won the set in the tiebreak.

He is soooo good and mentally strong.

Such matches really can show, if you are tough or mentally strong to win or not.... I guess against all this top players around here its really necessary to be strong in that way.... :-)

Recently I played against AdvocateOf04 in a SIM tournament and I was leading 6-3, 5-2. On return I had a double match point - he saved both of them. He held serve and the burden of serving it out was on me. I did well until 40-30, when he started to up his level again. He broke me and the momentum shifted. He cruised to a 6-5 lead in the second set, but I managed to force a tie breaker. He never had a set point, but saved one more match point and finally on the fifth I won the match!

Tonight I saved a double match point against Likos when he was up 5-2 in the second set - if I played every point like these two I wouldn't have been in this situation. ;)

wow. you ve lost match points but for example ferrero vs youzhny today.
ferrero has had 13 break points and he has won one: match point.
it s important to win the match points but i think that it s more important to win the match.
the other day, i lost a match because i commited a lot of stupid mistakes vs jetod.
i was winning 5-1 and i lost 7-6.
it s normal that you put nervous. :)

Roland Garros second round, i was blasting kifkaka easily for first 3 sets leading something like 5-1 or 5-2 on the third, and got to 40-15, 2 match points and he suddendly turned god mode on, saving the match points and climbing back to save the set, and he destroyed me on next 2 sets :D

I still have nightmares about it some nights lol

Shangai court? i lost a match in that court and i was winning 9-2 in the final tiebreak because of my eyes (i was playing during the night in that black court and my eyes was hurting a lot). At 9-2 i started to see nothing and i couldn't do any point... it broke my 14 winning streak so i decided to stop playing wt

Checked the archives. No match report filed. Not via the conventional means, anyway.

I really dont remember, but come on give some credit to the guy( maybe thats me) lol...u got to 9-2, im sure you could get another point even if your eyes were hurting badly. but yeah that court is really annoying and stupid...i have more problem with Cincinnati court though, cant see the ball at all.
