This automatically means lots of things, for example faster than realistic tennis gameplay. It's not trying to mimic real tennis exactly but trying to blend aspects of it into a game so that it can have the best balance of both.
The mechanics of the game, the stuff that will govern how 'realistic' it is is already in place and not something we can alter. The only thing we can do is try to make the game more fun, more fair and more balanced by imposing restrictions. To make it more realistic we would have to be able to change the core of the game, not merely ban things. So arguments of 'more realistic' to me don't make any sense.
First of all I'm not a dumbhead.

I know that we will never get a total realistic tennis experience in Top Spin 4 and for crying out loud, I know we cannot alter how the game functions.
I strongly disagree with you that "the stuff that govern how "realistic" it is, is already in place". The mechanics in the game is in my opinion quite realistic* until attributes exceed 90. I think the last 10 attributes is put in the game just to appeal to a broader fan base. I agree with them, some of the funny things with a game like this is to have a insane attribute! To be able to use something that never can be reproduced in real life.
And considering this, I really can't understand why a site like this don't reqognize that?
Which brings me back to one of the questions I asked very early in this thread: What's the point of having such a grand scale tour online and focusing on keeping it as close to reality, when it comes to tournament names and such, but don't want to keep the gameplay more like reality?
Now, I don't know if there will ever be an end to this subject, but how about trying a tournament where there are not allowed to have attributes exceeding 90?
When it comes to my statements about luck I'm not entirely sure what I meant there anymore and I think luck is not the word I meant to use to explain what I wanted to say. I shall figure it out until a later moment. Too tired now.. :S
Thanks for replies!

Looking forward to see how we'll conclude this thread, if we'll ever conclude it.

*meaning how the game is realistic to it's representation of the sport. (I think)
