I'm still convinced the update has done something to the serve mechanics

Played Puttu earlier and I could not get near the lines, on risk serves the slightest tap of direction sent it out. I ended up about 30% first serves.

We were both rusty but fun match.

No, hold LT to hit control and RT to hit power, both to control+power.

Go to the academy it teaches you to play.

Actually you can hit TS4 style control shots by tapping the button, it just creates a pretty slow ball. You can tap the button combined with a risk button though, so a LT and perfect timed tap can be a really good weapon.. no need to 'charge'
