Champions league style tourney

I was thinking maybe a champions league style tournament.Groups of 4 8 or 16 players played over the course of a season. Logistically it would not be the easiest thing to set up but I strongly believe it would be very entertaing with a hogh points value for the top finishers, just an idea. Lets hear what you all think

In the end of the season the top 8 players compete in 2x4 groups round in which the top 2 from each group quallify to the next round, thats what u mean?

A season long tournament that involves all the ITST members if possible in a group format. Tier 1 tops seeds tier 2 jus below etc.. If you win.a match you get 2 points an the top 2 or 4 depending on group size go through. Matches could be played periodicaly to maintain interst. It may be a poor idea but I thought it innovative and would a littke more to the tour. Points would be higher than grand slams.

Its not gonna happen mate cause ITST mimicks the way ATP tour is played so...

But its always nice to see somoene who think outside the box.

Like I said may be a bad idea but it would give evry1 the chance to be involved in 1 tournament together seeing as how ITST is a community. I may be a dreamer but im not the only 1

I dont tgink it wluld really interfere witg the atp series that much as 1 game a week would be managable. Then again I thought refrigerated beds was a good idea, so what do I know

Group format taking the whole year? Won't work because too many players would just not play all the time and take breaks or stop completely.

The only possibility is to make it take one month but why? Tennis is = ATP and not = UEFA/FIFA.
