looks like their patch is just a roll back to before previous patch... sounds a bit ridiculous

Wow i came here to post the same thing, and i think that you are right man!!! Now we can have matches (sometimes ) and the old problem of the game freezing in the "search for an opponent" is back again!!!

What make me really crazy about that patch is that they needed 3 month to find a stupid solution, that I was thinking about 1 day after the last patch came out!!! (me, just a stupid user that doesn't know anything about it)

I mean, they are amateur programmers or what???

I am so sad about that, the game is fantastic, but online problems kills me!!!

Anyway a little solution to that problem is to wait that the room is not full of players. I mean: if there are 30 people playing a match and 20 looking for it, wait a little or there can be problems!!! This is not sure, i'm just supposing.

I can understand the frustration but I'm appreciative of this new patch. For pretty much all games the developer gets loads of grief for certain issues but it's easy to take these games for granted... surely they can't be very easy to make, and i'd safely bet they're an absolute nightmare to perfect. Especially in regards to player balancing etc. On the whole i think they've done a top job.

The server problems have been/are annoying but there's no way of knowing whether or not it was a simple problem. My guess is that if it was a simple problem they would have sorted it out sooner- unlike some other developers they seem to listen to customers... I'm impressed by the patching and I like how they've asked this community for videos so they can iron out the problems.

If you wait until the lobbies are empty, you'll create a new lobby and 7-8 players will join it creating the same problem.

Since I unfortunately do not understand very much what you all write like this, but I can understand what is 'patch' is because it still give an update for the Xbox version? because the PS3 was already so yesterday the update.

One ANNOYING THING that i i see is happening more often is THE GODDAMN DISCONNECTION on the lobby which is counted as a goddamn loss, the first round of roland garros! waiting on the lobby and all of a sudden..BOOM! YOU ARE DISCONNECTED OR SOME CRAP LIKE THAT!
2K SERIOUSLY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES WITH THIS STUPID ONLINE MODE OF THEIR GAME.
BTW...i saw so many people having this problem, it happens, its connection problem-power loss-anything may give you a loss and most of us experienced it, but im wondering how is this for top ranked players on WT when they have sci-fic records like 190/0 200/0 ..how the hell is that possible?! yeah this is a bit off topic but i think about it everytime. it never happened to them?
i just played against one of the top guys , he is usually No1 in the season points chart, i lost but he was clearly stopable! how is that possible that no one won against him yet?

im not sure if the cheat on topspin3 works on tospin 4 but theres definitely a way to erease losses someone told me waayy back whe n i fist started on ts3 has something to do with a usb i think but its been so long

Thanks for the explaination! I didn't know about that, now those crazy W/L percentages makes sense! im sure if there was a code for TS3, there will be for TS4 as well..so yeah , no doubt they are using it.

Not sure! about re-playing the tournaments and gaining more than possible points, yes but about W/L record, i remember i checked some other wt top players and they had similar out-of-this-world records like that cheater.
doesn't matter how good you play,your internet connection , powerloss, TS4 famous problems(freezing...etc) will cost you a loss so i think there are more cheating in some other way.

currently stuck in the Womans WT Roland Garros Final lobby with a MALE opponent.... Timer at ZERO.., but not even the message saing Please Wait or Opponent Found...?!?!?! this just gets better and better.......

after an hour later of frantically searching both the console and controller for the faffin F5 button, had to sign out, mainly due to fear that the lobby image would have got burned onto my screen

well chedderd off... i was particulary chuffed with my stats/scores and never got the chance to finish em from this new patch "downdate" flaming sucks Donkey Kongs Banana so it does - royaly.

well 'spose it means i can start a new career sooner than expected yay...................

Farshad, it has a blue..., feather or whatever that supposed to be to the right of their name, pink for the women. It's pink icon beside the Roland Garros aswell showing the Womans Tour.

same here lol.., first round with my Andy Murray player,

everything seems worse to me, connections. same as Oshiee., keep getting stuck at "Please Wait". Was in a Lobby, 4 players then the timer finished, screen dimmed, said please wait but it was still adding players in the background then stuffed up. I'm lucky i dont bother with ranking and win/loss ratios as i tend to have a different player every week but i can sure see the frustrations for people who get a loss through no fault of their own.... unless your Dani right enough hehe..[/i][/b]
