PS3 Freezing problem!

Hello everyone,
I've been playing WT direct matches since the new patch is out and my PS3 froze twice at "looking for a game session" , it never happened before, i 've had freezing problem in other games unfortunately(red dead redemption-uncharted 1) so i dont know anymore what to expect.
when i google it, there are bunch of sites and blogs talking about PS3 freezing with different answers,its not easy to find out that your PS3 is having a problem or its normal to freeze once in a while, my PS3 is freezing more often lately, though.
anyone else experienced it? is it a patch related problem?

Hi friend.

I don´t think this is because of the patch. I didn´t have any problem after the update. I had the problem of freezing the game twice, and the last happend a week ago against dr burt reynolds playnig WT.

You mean completely freezed or freezed at "looking for a game session"???

I mean, can you go on the Dash and exit the game, or the PS3 is completely freezed???

Cause after the last patch, i had both experience Once the console freezed completely and i could do nothing, i had to reboot... And now the game is freezed on the search for a game, like before the patch that didn't allow to play World Tour...

I think 2k completely failed the online section this year, what a pity...

i meant freezing in a way that all you can do is to turn the device off and restart again, is that what happened to you too?
i ask you because i saw some people talking like the game freezes but you still can access to the main menu of PS3 which is not the case for me.

No,it was frozen completely and all i could do was to reboot the device by the front button. strange! but again we can't say for sure if its a patch related problem or not cause you know PS3 doesn't run flawless all the time and it freeze once in a while!

I understood. When it happend, I had to restart the device indeed.

yeah i hope so too! I've been searching more about it and i found so many people having freezing problem"generally" not only for TS4, they were mostly saying they had freezes problems here and there...but it shoudn't happen frequently. to me it happened a few times on different games but
we'll see how it goes.

Thats a possibility sometimes but i've had some freezes when playing single player ( red dead redemption and uncharted 1) so its not only PSN.
all in all im not very happy about PS3, its huge and beasty but the performance is a bit disappointing sometimes IMO.
