Silver choaches would change nothing!!

I can see the better players still using only 2 different setups:

0/8/12 + William Milango --> 2 red wings(81) + 65 power + 81 speed + reach swing expert. Hmm, even better than Drew Welch

And Sotirios Eroglu as the new Rabari --> 83+ power + good wings(75) + instant rocket

I think the only chance for a sim tour is a balanced roster of 12 or 16 players, 3 or 4 for each playstyle. Then there would be only one challenge left: To play challenging and fair at once. Many people seems to have problems with it, but thats not the topic here ;)

I´ve found more good setups with other coaches, I just won´t start listing it now. But as happend before, coaches that are considered very strong can be banned.

Maybe you are right, creating a roster would be more fair. But this could take a big part of the fun: Creating a player the way you want. And I really see silver coaches more balanced than the gold ones.

Maybe bronze coaches instead of silver so no one is gravitating towards skills in their coach choices.
Norberto H or bust.

abilities/skills are dumb in this gm. everything revolves around them. take those out and lower the ratings of players and u get a sim tennis gm.

but people dont want sim..they want arcade

I think there are some abilities that can be used without making the game arcade. I do believe that some of them are really nice. But there are a few of them that really sucks, giving a lot of advantage to the player. I can list these:

Drop Shot Artist
Instant Rocket
Monster Defense
Top Spin Invasion

Maybe using silver coaches without these skills could be a half-way solution for those (like me) who wants a balanced game without taking out all of the abilities.
