I so agre with Sherlock here...
And if Davis Cup sucks that much, why the hell some players are so proud and so willing to play it (Djokovic...)? All Argentina Team shouted on Del Potro for having played too much before the Davis Cup Final lost again Spain... And i'm pretty sure he does regret it now...
And Davis Cup can create national heroes, and that's priceless for any pro athlete! (That's what happenned for Boetsch, Escudé or Forget in France...)

yea nalby, gonzo, tsonga all love repping their flags. but the urge to win slams creates the idea playing davis cup will ruin your chances and also davis cup shows as a nation how strong is you country in tennis. im sure fed will try and use the next few years to get it done and try and complete the super slam a feat achieved only by agassi all four majors . davis cup, olympic gold in singles, and Y.E.C

Tsonga really forcing some trips to the net when they're not working at all, and it's cost him today.

edit: of course right when I type that he changes the momentum of the 3rd set tiebreak and looks about to win it. FML

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

yep i agree, countries are different though. I don't wanna talk about politics here but Spain is a bit different, and many people don't "feel" the country same way as an american for example.

you will hardly see this in Spain, but anyway i agree with you guys....back on topic

Tsonga is so exciting to watch.

I am a huge Federer fan and to see him go out was painful, but if it was to anyone it'd have been Tsonga.

Who is everyone's favourite players?

Mine go:
Federer
Borg
Safin
Tsonga
McEnroe

call me crazy... lol

One of these days he is actually going to be shot during a tennis match, and I'm gonna look like the most likely suspect in the entire world.

I think this is good for Tennis !

A Man with 47-1 wins in a year deserves that !

You all are talking about as if every time he plays the opponent does not know how to play tennis. If someone does not like him because he is a Serb, or because he sometimes makes too much fun, ok, thats your thing, but admit that he is playing well !

Murray 1 set up, 7-5, Rafa needs to put more 1st serves in otherwise he'll be in trouble, plus he needs to be more aggressive, he's hitting his FH like he does on clay, and that high ball to Murray's BH is useless, and he's able to flat his FH...... so many times they play against each other and they can't see these things haha

Now that's the Murray forehand we all know from TS 4. :o

Djokovic deserves the number one: Won a Grand Slam, won four Masters 1000 by beating Nadal and now reached another Grand Slam final.
