French Open Doubles....

Any word on advancing this?

We're waiting on one match:

Tuurbine / ALPACINO1 : RAE1980 / Niten Doraku

The deadline was 06/04 I believe, so we're two weeks past that now.

Wimbledon is going to start before we finish this...

I'd almost say let NARCOSIS2009 / Vieira151 advance to the finals since they played...

if you dont keep strict deadlines then no one adheres to them or takes them seriously...and then tourneys never end

We can't have strict deadlines for doubles. If we did, there'd be even more walkovers - it's just so hard to find a time that four people can all play.

The hosts can see the messages between the players. If a deadline has been extended, then the players are making a considerable effort to play the match. If they weren't, the host would decide on the match and update the draw.

You can trust Rob. Genereally you can trust him 100 % but even more in that case.
By experience, the double tour takes ages to move on because I guess you can easily imagine it is pretty tough to organize four different persons playing at the same time with very often different time zones.
It has always been like this (since i'm here at least) and luckily it is ; otherwise, it's simple, there would be no double tour.
Be patient, you'll play your final mates...

Yes, just try and sit back and relax. Don't check the draw every day waiting for the draw to get updated, because it just isn't going to happen. And then you will also receive the same benefit when it comes to your doubles matches, as long as you are putting in effort to schedule the match.

It would be nice if the tournament moved more quickly. But with the doubles tour numbers where they are at, it is more important to just let people play when they can. If we ever had a full 32 team draw though, we would likely be much more strict.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

You're more than very welcome my friend.... It's good news. Is he coming back to "the island" for real ?

If you want, i'll be at tom's place tomorrow evening for some friendly matches if you want.

Cheers bud

Dude, i agree with your point, but you can t blame both teams if just 1 is lazy.

Tuurbine took it to easy and waited to long. But he already appologized for it.

Me and RAE will play vs. the two guys from Scottland very soon. We already contacted them
