First official tournaments open for sign up

Just to let you guys know the first tournaments for the official tour are now open for sign up.

As you may notice there are two main tournaments and two challengers. In the past we always refrained from creating challengers when the tour started because we had no ranking yet. This time around we are hosting challengers from the start. We did not want to enlarge the main tournaments as it would take even longer to have a ranking and thus seedings.

I hope you guys will to stay away from the challengers when you know your level is to high for it.

thats cool.

what do you think about to start with a 500 points tournament instead a 250 POINTS tournament??

so people think twice to play the easier challenger ,when you earn in the normal tournament more points

By the way, make sure the courts are eventually assigned for these tournaments...as well as for all the Warm-Up tournaments.

Not a bad idea but we want to keep following the ATP tour as much as possible.

Ill add the courts later today. Just gotta get home first and test out which are the best ones.

Monte Carlo is open for sign up. I suggest you sign up quickly if you want to participate in this tournament. I have a feeling those 64 places will be gone quicker then you realize.

If so is it going to be that way all the time? Or will there be priority given to the higher ranked players?

....no, I think we can look into making a "minimum acceptance rank". Meaning you can't play the masters if you ranked low. That will allow us to hold qualifiers. If there is a need.

For now - first come first serve.

Otherwise it would also be kinda unfair for newcomers because they are automatically ranked low compared to guys who've been on these forums far longer

A good player will win a few challengers and graduate, that is normal.
