How difficult is the VERY HARD difficulty?

Postby caredbl84 » Wed, 16 Mar 2011 15:03

Just wondering...

On Top Spin 3, It was pretty easy and you could easily school the AI...

Is that the case when playing in Career Mode or any other Game Mode??

It's actually pretty decent. At least the first time through all the matches won't be a cakewalk, and especially it will be difficult to beat someone 3 or 4 levels ahead of you.

Remember, you can also unlock an expert mode eventually.

Can you change difficulty during the career like you could in TS3?

Yes. For a while I was doing it on very hard, and then I finally decided it was taking too much time and I wanted to get to the online stuff instead, so I changed it down to hard

Be careful though, you CANNOT change the score format. So if you decide to go with the real tennis scoring and do full sets, 3 or 5 set matches, you will be in for a long career :x

Personally, I like playing the career, but since you need a complete player to play online, 5 hours is about right for me. I am definitely not complaining about the majority of the matches being 10 point tie-breaks.

Yeah, I'm really conflicted about this. I really like to play the career mode and would love to make it as real as possible. So it's really tempting to choose 6/3. But at the same time I want to finish my first character before the world ends in december 2012 so I'll probably take the middle road or even the tie-break one for my first character.
