hahahaha, I lost 1 controller to VT3. You have to press so hard on the analog to get those angles. When I got a new one, the same one I currently have, I had to put the game down lol.

I am not exaggerating when I say that nobody (NOBODY) using a custom character ever beat me in VT3 and I played that game for like 2 years.

I'm not trying to talk trash :P I'm just saying you must not have ran into any top players :P

hahaha, I knew if there was one person on here who would respond to that VT3 part it would be you jay .
I did run into a lot of really good players. Won some, lost some. I had a 63.(something)% win rate when I stopped playing, after thousands of games. I was shocked it was that high considering how many good players I ran into and that I was using custom. 99% of my matches were against pros, while the other 1% were against other customs. You had to run into the right custom players. Even then they still had a high chance of losing. Custom players were terribly bad in VT3, but I loved the challenge they presented.
You never know jay. If I had run into you anything could have happened
The only person I remember from on here that I played was TheHoff. He might remember me. Probably not cause it was so long ago.

Now that you mention it, I seem to remember seeing your name on VT3 and playing you a few times. I can't remember for sure, but I'm pretty sure I never lost to a custom player either. I wasn't nearly as good as Jaylove, but I could give him a run for his money.

I don't seem to remember very many Roddicks actually, it was mostly Hewitt's (blah!). Initially I used to play with Nalbandian, but it was just too frustrating trying to hold serve with him, and he couldn't volley worth anything. Playing Monfils was so fun and far more creative than the mindless Hewitt ball-bashers. By the way, I've been playing a lot of ranked the past week on a different account and made it past the rating of my old account! Have you been playing recently Hawkeye, because I feel like I've played you in the past week or two.

Another fun part of VT3 was trying to play 2 up in doubles with somebody you knew. 2 up was a very weak position in doubles for most people, but if you got 2 people up there who knew what they were doing you could almost win every point from that position.

I had the same problems with Nalbandian as you...I need a decent serve and Nalbandian's is the worst in VT3, although his backhand is the best shot in the game. You can get away with Nalbandian's serve if you hit MAX every. single. time...but that's a lot to ask in a laggy ranked match. Monfils has an awesome serve in VT3, almost as good as Roddick's, so that's a big reason why I used him. I got very good at hitting short-in-the-service box-but-right-on-the-line 130 mph bombs with Monfils. That serve is impossible to deal with it if you do it right.

I hated running into Hewitt's...I don't consider it 'cheesy' or 'cheating' or anything but it's a bit of a cop-out to me. Play King and then play Hewitt and tell me they don't feel almost exactly the same. Only difference is the serve and volleys, although Hewitt's serve and volley is actually only slightly worse than King's. GOD I hate people who play as Hewitt! So many faceless players in the top 100 who used only him.

2-up doubles is definitely the way to go if you are both good net players!! I remember playing this Japanese team that was absolutely insane- once you let them get to the net, you are NOT getting it past them. I would just usually immediately quit if I got paired with a partner who wanted to play at the baseline in doubles. Hence why I have an extremely low winning % in doubles

@Sherlock 117

Now I think about it. I think I remember you. Your name sounds familiar. Did you play henman? Did you serve and volley, with the occasional coming to net during rallies? lol, if yes then hahahahaha. It's definitely you. We played like 2 or 3 times. I remember. I lost all of them, with 1 being kinda-a-little -bit-but-maybe-not-really close lol .
Oh, the last time I played VT3 was years ago. I played the game for like a year after release b4 I stopped.

hey you knowed that you can play TS4 in 3D ??
i found a option where you can change setting in stereoskopic 3 D :
WOW.
i think its cool to play TS4 in 3 D -of course you need a 3 D tv ,but hey thats awesome.

also hopefully someone figured out soon a cheat ,that you can level up your character without playing the whole carriere !!

it needs very long time to max out your character .
when nobody find one
than.......................................
PLEASE 2 K give us a fast character creating cheat !!
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE.

i will not play more than 1 full cariere (maybe 2)

another thing i noticed is ,that it feels weight and height are not important in TS4!! only the stats count

before i started a carriere, i made a small thin player and he hittet same hard than a big full muscle player .
and the big fat player was same fast than the small thin player.
i can´´t say its true to 100% but i saw no difference.

anyone can bring clearness ??
