Official Create/Recreate Pros Thread

Postby o Sinna o » Thu, 10 Mar 2011 20:06

So many of us are definitely thinking about to create or better said recreate a Pro which is not in the official Roster of Top Spin 4 and this Thread is to discuss about that. I mean as a Example some Guys definitely thinking about which Attributes and Extraskillz a Player like Gustavo Kuerten should have, to recreate his Style so good as possible. I guess you undertsand me.

So my first Pro Creation I wanna do and the Player I want to bring back on the Court is a is a former World No. 1 tennis player from Russia called "Yevgeny Kafelnikov".

I remember him as really good Tennisplayer and saw a few Matches in the Past but I don't remember special Things which are important for my Creation.

First of all I saw a Information about him as he was still active on the Tour.
I saw a few new Pictures from him where he was out of Shape but that's how it is.

I want to bring him back as the great Player we remember him ofcourse.

Is it true? (especially that he was 190 cm big? Was he really so big?)

Image

Age: 18.02.1974
Birthplace: Sochi Russia
Residence: Sochi Russia
Height: 6'3" (190cm)
Weight 185 lbs (85 kg)

And how would you spread the Attributes for Kavelnikov?

Forehand: ?
Backhand: ?
Serve: ?
Volley: ?
Power: ?
Stamina: ?
Speed: ?
Reflexes: ?

And was he more a offensive or defensive Baseliner?

I have to search for a few Vids on Youtube to see him in Action again, because then I got a better Imagination for my Creation.

Hm I am not sure if someone can really say his Backhand was better than his Forehand if you watch im playing, but he had a good Serve, strong groundstrokes and was more a offensive Baseliner.

Kafelnikov had what some describe as one of the best BH ever. Not sure I agree with that, but BH is certainly his best shot. Especially down the line.

Here young Roger gets a taste of a well seasoned BH :P

Hehe thanks ok I have to think about it but I will create him so good as possible, also his Face what should be pretty hard to do and so.

Bwt Guys. Did you know that Kafelnikov gained more than 30 KG weight after his Career and lost almost eversthing again? Don't know in what Condition he is right now but I guess he had a very lazy relaxed Time after his Procareer. Why not.

the average height of a male tennis player is 6'3 and the tallest you can create someone as is 6'4, wtf!?!? that leaves so many players we cant proply create now, has anyone got ANY reason why they decided to drop the tallest players from 6'9 to 6'4??

That's a really good Question if that is true. I have luck with Kafelnikov that he fits barely in.

Are you Guys sure that 6'4 is the max possible height and from where do you know it?

Hm understand. I mean I don't have e really big Problem with it, but it would be more realistic ofcourse if you could create Players with a higher realistic height like Karlovic or Del Potro have.

djarvik you should stop trying to defend top spin all the time man, even when you know yourself they have made a bad decision you defend them......they say you can create any player not on the roster but we cant accurately make alot of them without them looking like a giraffe, i cant get within half a foot of my favourite player which is absolutely ridiculous!
