I really like it! :P

Maybe I'm looking at it in a bit of a simplistic way but Top Spin 1 was so successful because of the uncomplicated fun it offered.

It was ALL about the tactics! So easy to pick up & play, no difficult to learn button combinations just lots of great games that helped foster an environment of tactics above all else & enhanced further by the ITST Sim Tour.

The ball hardly ever goes out?...not a problem in my opinion....that's where you have to start thinking & anticipating.

The demo is obviously a watered version so hopefully the 'never miss a shot' aspect has been tightened(or loosened) for the final version.

Maybe I'm just rubbish at this game but I had quite a hard time beating Nadal on Hard.....doesn't bode well for me on the tour does it!

Al :)

You remember we talked about TS2 when it was just released and probably with TS3 as well. Both fine games but i think we both missed the fun factor. This game has it!

I assume you are gonna buy it? Let make sure we play some matches then.

Sly

I do remember exactly that....we were all so looking forward to each new release but like you say, whilst fine games in their own right, something was missing for those of us used to playing TS1 ....the amazing thing about TS1 was that everyone had almost identical set ups & yet there was still such a variety of skill levels between everyone.

It all just meant that whilst the game was infuriating, it was also completely addictive & alot of fun ....add the ITST to that & everyone became hooked in a big way!

TS4 really feels nice to this old fashioned player....I will be purchasing & we will most definitely be having some rematches!

Now then, nice to meet you Al V.2.0 & my apologies for not making it possible for you to use your name....I could consider adding the Jam back to my tag (for a price! )

Coolhand, stay calm and carry on! 8)

Sinna, you have to forgive me mate but I don't recognise your name....it has been a long time since I was last in town here....what was you're tag before coz no doubt I do know you
