Created Characters max. 500 Attributepoints bad or good?

Kludkalle just attract my Attention for this Point.

How you can see in this Dev. Diary 4 the created Characters are only maxed out at 500 Points in the best Case.

So what does that mean for us and the ITST Tour and do you think it's good that we can only reach 500 and can't compete with the (Pros which are in the Game and maxed out higher) Prostats or do you think this is bad?

Discuss about the Advantages and Disadvantages.

The first Disadvantage what bothers me is that we can't use the real Pros in the Tour because they are to strong.

But what do you think?

I have no idea. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Personally I prefer it to be a difference between created players and pros so it doesn't get to easy.

This is an example of a silver coach. As you can see, he gives you +20 in attributes, to bring it to 520 total. A golden coach should bring you another +10 or more.

I think the remaining points will be gained with different coaches. Some coaches will give you lets say:

+10 power
+10 FH
+10 Serve

...making you a total of 530 overall. Yes, below the 560 level, but, you also getting very important stat boosts.

...other coaches may give you:
+ 15 Stamina
+ 20 Reflexes
+ 10 Volley

....making you a total of 545...but the stats that get increased are different.

I am thinking stats have different weight of XP.

Of course I could be wrong and there is another way. I dont know really.

They simplified the system a lot (as we all know)... I think it's a good thing. Also, I think the Skill Sets are more important and play a more direct role in creating and distributing skills to your player... individual skill points can be altered with coaches.

Hm yeah that's the Question. I mean if they overpowered clearly then not. I mean 545 Points with Extraskillz are not bad but 555 or max. 560 would be cool to have the same Chances like the Pros in the Game. I know somebody said Rafa has 565 or so but that's not wild. If we could reach 560 Points would be cool. If we can reach only 545 then I think it will be a custom Char Tour only.

The plan right now, is to allow use of any players. If the Pro players are found to be overpowered, than we will go the "created players only" route.

The two Warm-up Tournaments (A and B) will tell us a lot. We will ask for members feedback and make a decision about it then.

My personal feeling is that we will be able to use Pros. I really hope so. Not because I will use a pro, I will not - but because it will be a good way for a newcomer to instantly enter the tour and the tournaments. This will make ITST grow faster.

I also think that Pros are very balanced now. Fed and Rafa seems to be balanced between each other very well and not over-done with stats. So we have a good chance for Pros-in-ITST-tour!

That player is really stacked up

Only way you could win would be to hit him side to side and hope he don't reach Obviously drop shot aswell, but if its not timed well thats a death sentence, cause the lack in general depth of many shots in TS4 mean he could easily get into place
