Quick note

Postby Ronnie2K » Tue, 01 Mar 2011 19:25

Hey guys,
Hope you're enjoying the demo! Just wanted to put in a couple quick reminders...

1) Some presentation elements are stripped down for demos. Generally something we have to do for space restrictions.
2) The difficulty is set for a more casual group. As much as we love you ITST folk (as you may have seen from dev diaries etc.), we have to let the regular person learn to play the game. You guys will be able to play the game at whatever level you choose later.

Let me know if you have questions.

Ronnie

On the demo, no. In the retail game, of course!

The PS Store updates a little later in the day, usually around 3 PT. Should be up in the next few hours anyway...

Another thing I wanted to ask was about the outfits the players wear, did you guys just randomly choose 3 outfits that the player has worn over the last 2 years or so for the game?

Is it rue that the Demo don't represent the final Version of the Game when it comes to Gameplay?

Somebody of 2K said that over Twitter.

thanks for coming by Ronnie.
I think most of us enjoy the demo. I know you cant answer any "precise" question but could you please tell us about the difference between the demo version and the retail version as far as gameplay is concerned?
It seems that the demo was done before you tweaked a bit more the gameplay so i would like to know if there'll be more unforced errors percentage in the retail version?

In the demo you can hardly make any unforced errors but we all hope it was for demo purpose to let every kind of people enjoy the game.... right?
Thanks

Yes the demo is almost always an earlier build of the game, the guys never stop working on trying to make it better. I hope to provide notes on that in the coming weeks, but for now, enjoy the demo and consider some upside for the retail game.

Either way, like I said, the demo is always stripped down in terms of presentation. We are restricted in terms of space.

On the Career Mode:

A) In videos/screenshots of Career Mode tournaments Minor/Major has rule 1 Super-Tie-Break. I would like to know whether, since the beginning in Career Mode, I can play in the format of 6 Games/SET and 3 SETS or 5 SETS/MATCHES?????????????

B) We know that Barclays ATP World Tour Final is available for the 8 best players of the season. My question is: What will be the format this Tournament (O2 Arena)???? Shall be identical to the reality with the 8 best players of the season divided into two groups A and B??????? The best results to form a Semi-Final and follow the great FINAL????????????

Thanks, Guy!!!!!!!
