Beating Nadal in the way I wanna do it is not easy. It's hard to find a concrete Line with Fed to make the Points against him.

But I bet you having the same Problems.

No the Thing is most of the Time I try to play with Fed like I did with a Player in Top Spin 3 against the CPU.(I played Top Spin 3 maybe 4 Weeks overall in my gaming Career so it's not much like you see) And Top Spin 3 didn't had this Stylebalance and you were almost forced to play always offensive Baseline. Charge your Hit with full power and search for the free Room. That was the TS3 Tactic.

But if you use only the offensive Baselinestyle with Fed who isn't a special offensive Baselineplayer in the TS4 Demo you will have Problems with Nadal on hard dif.
So you can just try to do what Federer is made for in TS3 as an Allrounder and mix your Game. (They recreated his Skillz and his Style very good btw, I mean Fed is a Allrounder in real Life too) Means sometimes a Netattack, sometimes you defend at the Baseline and sometime you search for the winner offensive from the Baseline.

Everybody who plays this Game has no other Posiibility to use than what's given to us when it comes to Gameplaypossibilities.
I have won 5 Matches on hard dif. yet but I lost more than I have won. I guess I lost 7 times to Raffa now. I never played as Raffa until yet.

The Time will show how depth I'll come in the Game and how I will understand they ways to compete against the different Styles and Players.
TS4 makes this Points so interesting like never before.

Maybe some Top Spin 3 Veterans doin it easier than me, but I am sure you lose the one or the other Point with Fed. against Nadal on hard too.

A pretty interesting Game if you ask me.

To anyone who's played a bit at net - have they fixed the lob issue? As in, if you press/release a volley too soon does the ball still drop on your head or can you cancel/run back?

Haha, well I want it always. But at least we won't need a sim tour for this one. :-)

Don't get me wrong. I WILL get hooked on it sooner or later for a while . Like I did with TS2 and 3.
It looks like it's gonna be fun to play.
But still.

Has anyone actually hit a ball long yet? Played the demo about 10 times and don't think I've hit a single one long...

OMG how I hate this f-u-c-k-i-n-g Nadal. He drives me crazy. I have just won one and then lost one again.

This Mofugger hits these almost impossible crosscourtsshots from the defense and always prompts me from offense to defense.

I didn't found a special way to always dominate him and I bet it is because this way doesn't exist.

But exactly that is the Mainpoint what will make TS4 so special between human Players. Everything will be possible in the different Matches.

I really have to think about what kind of Player I will be in TS4 but time will show it anyway.

Yeah, I've launched a few balls long.

If you guys have any other questions about unforced errors, I'm your man. :) :? 8)

I think so. If you mean when someone lobs, you press a button and swing at the air. I think they have. It seems like the volley doesn't even come out once the ball has been lobbed over you. Your character cancels what shot he was going to do and waits for you to press back to run and try to retrieve the ball.
I'll try it out later and let you know for sure.

Just got done playing with my brother. The most fun I've ever had with a tennis game. He's still learning, but non the less after a brief explanation he started getting better. Rallies are definitely more dynamic than TS3. You're going to love this emate, and any other s&ver. S&V seems like it could be really strong. Then again, all styles can definitely work in this.

What you say Cro? Did you play with Fed against Nadal on hard and how did you perform? What you think about what I have written?

By the way that you can't hit every Ball long to line is the next realistic thing. You can't do it all the time in real Tennis also.

BTW I don't notice a real effect when I press the RB Button which is made to run to the net and step backwards. It almost seems like he does it the same way like running to the Net if I don't press this Button.

I just played my brother for a bit. You'll definitely make more mistakes. The CPU doesn't really know what shots to play at the right time, which is what I learned quickly from my brother. Things aren't as predictable as the CPU, and you'll definitely have to guess where a human opponent is going to hit at times. Most of your errors will come mainly from unforced, with a few forced thrown in there, due to stamina and other factors (being on the run, type of shot and angle you're trying to make). He hated TS3 but loves 4.

Pheeww!... Damn download!
Ok i've played it a bit, and i made a let serve!!! :P
That was already awesome to me!...

And i have to say that i stupidely play with some TS3 reflexes : trying risk shots!

I like it already (so far...)
Better graphics, i like the improves on the "around the court" aspect...
I find they made "weird shoulders" but it's ok... (and graphs are not the most important aspect to me...)
Their "moves" are recognisable! Expect i didn't remember Fed's serve animation was that weird... I highly like how they made Rafa's posture on returns! Perfect!

I can't serve good, but i felt the tactic is more important now... isn't it?
I only played 3-4 matchs but i felt Rafa gameplay was efficient played by Rafa, but not by Rodge (vs Rafa)... That's nice too!
Like said before, the real test will be online...
