PS3 and X-Box play is dramatically different. It stems from the movement. On PS3 the movement is unbelievably fast. X-box is completely opposite as it is very robotic and awkward. Puttu and Swifty have made the switch and while they have results to be respected, I'm sure they will tell you that perhaps PS3 tour is harder difficulty. Maybe because PS3 has weaker field so everyone plays the best players more often which of course improves everyone. DJarvik is the expert on this come to think of it. Anyways, I want to see more mudslinging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't say the PS3 tour is weaker, but its not as deep. At the top is very heavy. Either way the PS3 posse needs to defend ourselves. One thing I will admit, the Xbox crew sure can talk a good game. I want to see how they play!

yeah the ps3 tour has little stratigraphic depth. the top is like extreme elite level, then everyone has little chance of beating them. There is noone say like me and my rank who could win a grand slam, i would have to play the game of my life to beat just one of these guys, and then it would be very close. I'm usually always competitive, but never in any danger of winning :)

Lag is the biggest downfall on PS3 compared to xbox and because it is much quicker it accentuates the problem even more. Xbox plays smoother and has a greater variety of playstyles and skill levels. The two versions are really very different games.

PS3 is weaker, by a good margin. Top to bottom, it is just weaker.

That said, the game does play a bit different, no one really made a successful adjustment moving from one tour to the other, but that is mainly because of Xbox-ers didn't try to make it. As soon as they found out you cannot invite people to matches and sometimes you have to restart 3-4 times a match - they simply stopped trying.

I played both tours when they both flourished and were at their deepest. I am qualified to make the statement. Case closed. 8)
