I like this and totally agree....there is the ATP World #1 and then there's the Alien Invasion #1

Everybody knows who the former is but the latter is up to the true fans to decide

True, but then who would you pick out of fed or nadal?

Federer....I imagine the aliens being around 10 feet tall anyways, so one of Nadal's biggest weapons is neutralized right there.

^^^

I would call out Edberg from retirement. At that point I imagine aliens would just forfeit.

Her defense tho, wow it soo good. She the inter of tennis yeah she may do flashy stuff but the mentality annoys me.

But that is how I got to be ranked #2 in ITST, by playing defense, defense, and even more defense with making around 5 winners a match  But hey if it's a winning strategy....

No shame in doing it like that. I mean if it wins for you do it. However certain styles bring more dislike so the whole pro cons and the cons of people disliking can always be ignored lol.

If I got to be #2 I wouldn't care if people disliked my style unless I cheesed which I wouldn't coz no fun

She will not be able to defend her number one spot in the WTA ranking come year-end. I think she will experience the "Jankovic" of women's tennis.

Don't get me wrong, her accomplishment is well-deserved.

Haha. Sorry. You remember the time when Jankovic was largely talked about for playing the most matches and how she has been number #1. The fact that it was short lived is that of Wozniacki.

i don't really like her style of play that much. there is one big problem i can see with Wozniacki in grand slams. She is very consistent and has a great backhand, but that consistency just isnt enough in GSs. She will always come up against an aggressive player who is playing really well in a GS and they'll beat her because she can't do much to hurt them other than keep the ball in court.

Look at what happenned when she lost to Na Li in the AO this year or when she was killed by Kvitova in Wimbledon last year 62 60.

I can't see her winning a major until she can be a bit more aggressive.

Follow Wozniacki since she was 12 years old.
Sure she need to be more aggressive but still she is still only 20.

She need to work on her forehand and a little bit serve and to be more aggressive.

But she got the time.
kinda all the top 10 players is +25years and been working on theirs tennis for a very long time.

Against Vera Zvonareva last week final. Wozniacki played alot more Agressive tennis that we have see from her.

she just working slow. To be a little more Agressive.
Hope she will. Kinda only the tennis player we got in Denmark.

About killed by Kvitova in Wimbledon last year 62 60. Kvitova all she hit in that match was almost on lines everytime. 100% agressive but did not make errors, was a dream match for her and that kinda days u dont get often.

Wozniacki have raise her game so much since Wibledon and beat her back like almost same score end of last year.

And i dont think she will go down like ivanovic and jankovic. if it would happen. It would already have startet.

Good point Z... she is only 20 dudes!

She can still add some muscle to her and add some umph to her shots. But as of late she has been hitting a little harder, no?

well i think for sure she can hit hard.. is just about to control it, when she do it.. her back hand she trust on.. is just more about her forehand she really need to work on.

Just what i think :)
