Rules On Lag?

Postby PCFitnessDotNet » Fri, 24 Sep 2010 17:54

I was curious if anyone knew the SIM tourney rules when the lag is really bad?

I'm in Florida, USA and he was from Germany, I can't say names, i'll just say, win or lose, it was a HORRIBLE experience regardless, especially towards the end of the match, it got VERY laggy. Neither one of us quit, I would have, just wasn't sure of the rules for something like this..

Even though I lost, close match, I still made sure I told my opponent it was a gm!

Coincidentally, I recorded the match in HD which I will have up on YouTube by the end of the day. Http://www.youtube.com/user/pcfitness

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

It was me, no problem if my name is mentioned.

Yes there was a damn lag and i missed some shots too. But usually both players are effected on it, and both have to deal with it.

If i think it s impossible to play, i abort the match within the first 1-2 games.

If my opponent aborts, it s ok for me.

It's cool man. Like I said in my PM, it's just so frustrating when this happens and your not sure what to do about it, but now I know to quit and retry another time before we get too deep into the match. Especially when both of us know how much nicer of a match we could have had if the lag wasn't so bad.

The video of the second set should be up in about 2 hours from now on my YouTube channel. Just search for pcfitness in YouTube and you guys can see it.
