not the same, not Nada's fault if Federer has a crappy backhand  , rest of the ATP players know that, but you need to be skillful and very strong mentally to follow that tactic.......we'll never agree man hahaha different thoughts, it's cool anyway

To answer this thread, i would say NO. But i won't vote cause he's not done.

Nadal is going to win more slams but federer too. Even if Nadal Wins 2 or even 3 every year , Fed will still make 2 or 3 (or even 4) before the London olympics . Now, if roger manages to reach his goal, 20 Slams, how long would it take to Nadal to catch Roger...
Nadal is a beast + a very clever and skilled player. Probably the best ever on clay and the best defender ever. Roger is simply the best because of the number of important trophies but also and especially because of his very complete and beautiful style. Everyone loves to watch federer play. Even Rafa I'm sure.
Anyways, all is said when Rafa himself says, Roger is the greatest.

thanks Alex, great interview
I like the question "What has changed from last year", many good players, awesome players to be honest, can't make that change and maybe they'll never make it.
Federer from 2002 to 2005, is the one of the best players i've seen in my life, and again i'm talking about groundstrokes, volleys etc he could crush anyone from the baseline, completely awesome player. Even the big, the legend, the god, the lord Rafa hahahaha (oh God how crazy i am!!!) would have had problems with him from the baseline in that time.

Check this match in 2003 against Blake

Who did the titles? Hoffman cup should be Hopman cup and talking about playing with Martina Hingis not Navratilova! BTW Hingis and Federer were a tennis match from heaven, although I remember she carried that team when they won.

BTW guys you know i was messing around, i respect Federer a lot, and what he has achived in his career is impressive, big champion.

Rafa's on the way to becoming a more successful player than Federer ever will be, the only question is if he can keep it up. If he can keep up his level of play and continually improve like he has been, Nadal's gonna be regarded as the Greatest Of All Time sooner or later.

No he's definitely not as graceful, natural, or beautiful a player as Federer, but he's brutally efficient and that's all that really matters

Agreed but that's always the issue. To keep a high level of playing through the years. If Henri Leconte would have been able to keep his level, he would have won many many titles

I think Rafa is taking all the right steps to become a more 'durable' player...one whose style is sustainable for many years.

We all talk about "Yeah he's great, but will he be able to withstand his demanding style of play?"...but you know what?? We've never seen anybody like Nadal in tennis. We've never seen anybody this amazingly fit and fast and strong. Applying old logic ('his knees will eventually give out because he does so much running') might not be that smart in Nadal's case...I think he's an exception.

Anyways, we'll see in a few years.
