Since, the Australian Open 2009, 4 times.

At the Australian Open 2009, and in that match she was leading by a set and a break but literally could not continue she was about to vomit all over court and was choking back tears, Doha 2009, she was cramping badly and could barely run, Andalusia she injured herself in that tournament and had to retire due to that injury, and what she had to go through today.

Why would she be another Kournikova? She's won a few tournaments and has proven that she can play good tennis when it matters. That's such a stupid assumption to make.

just saw the video of azarenka "fainting" and the reports made it sound like she was out cold, but was not the case.

Honestly the reports were making it sound so much worse. Not as bad as i thought

also berdych down 2 sets to 0?

I saw parts of that match. Harrison seemed to be the much more motivated player out there. Ljubicic looked like he wasn't even trying to break serve and lost his own serve more because of his own errors than because of Harrison's quality. Credit to the american though.

Obviously her health is of a higher importance to her than her tennis. Also, how does fitness have anything to do with being ill?

Djokovic is one of the fittest players on tour by the way. Sometimes it's more mental than physical.

I seriously doubt that.
If you are playing in 35 degree heat and spewing, and also more than likely holding in major diarrhoea you definitely wouldnt play on?
If you are like that do you go to work? Most people certainly wouldnt, i would certainly retire in that situation.
I know Djokovic retires too often, but he always says 'im not risking my health to win a match' I 100% agree with him
