Coke4(Tompson) defeats Calvkln(Nakamura) 7-6(2) 6-4

1st Set He starts off strong by getting a break point in my opening service game but i save it and he goes on to hold to love. The set goes on pretty evenly but he managed to earn himself another break point which i also saved. At 5-5 on my serve he rallied from 30-0 down to level it at 30-30 before getting and advantage on that point, i have to defend and get quite lucky to win the point, I go on to hold. In the breaker i seize immediate control going 2-1 up with a mini break, i held my points for 4-1 then got another mini break and served it out for 7-2.

2nd Set:I manage to get a break at 3-3 with a forehand down the line winner after him being up 30-0 in that game. At 3-5 i manage to get a 15-40 lead, he saves the first after a very long tense rally and a good serve sets him up for an easy second point. I manage to get another m/p and got myself into a good position after a long rally but ended up hitting my attemted crosscourt fh miles wide, he went on to hold. I then serve it out to 15 to take the match!

Thx, it was a though match, I think I dominate the rallys for 70% which was pretty high level from both sides. He's serve was hard to handle and I got a few BP's. I have a lot of respect for Nito in the past there where people who says he was cheap etc. But I think he is a really fair player and enjoy to play against. :P

Oww yeaah! :P
I was always focused on MS because I liked that more :). And MSS sucks that was what I was thinking. I worked on my game and with Cannon, last time I almost beat you Coke but I was not consitently.
In this match I think I was, and I hope to win this tournament to see what shocking faces on the tour:P .

Win my round16 match vs frenchman pistolfred 6-2 6-4

I felt my game really good from the back of the court and in my groundstrokes.I won my service games pretty easily where my serve volley 50%time was really spot on.

I was putting all my work for break pistolfred.

This is a good player.Nice dropshots in the good timing for punish me to be too far of the net.

Great backhand too.Taking the ball early and he found amazing angles.

Im really impressed by the way of lot of players manage so well their weak side shot.Sometimes you see the stats of the weak side, and during the match you cant believe how well the winners are hitting from this one.

Now Djarvik in quarter.

Lost my quarter vs djarvik 7.5 6.3

The match was great and really fun despite the fact there was a disconnection at 5-3 30-40bp in first set.

Lots of variety, great winners and defensive feelings.

Some Crazy passing shots dj can hit, i tried to agress him and mix serve and volley and kick serve on the forehand for gave me easy balls.

But he missed nothing.Great angles on return and on the passing.

Battle of backhand, and both try to change the pace with the big forehand cross court.

A close one again, again for dj  .Good game. Was really fun.

:tu Thanks man!

Close match, lots of BH to BH rallies with both of us taking risks to stronger FH. Good tactics!

Surprisingly, I simply could not hand Marlon's serve down the line. I was so ready to return wide serves and he punished me many times with Houses weak serve down the T. No aces, but I always send the ball slow middle court were he would attack. I finally was able to solve that puzzle in second set.

Marlon is very good at luring you in deep top-spin rallies and knows when to to change the pace well. I tried my best not to get into too many of these with him

Mm just noticed something.

otlichno gives brger walkover
brger gives tonedawg walkover
tonedawg gives coke walkover

by that logic/pattern:

coke gives djarvik walkover
djarvik gives alex walkover

This is fate, dont fight it guys

Alex overcomes coke4 5-7 6-3 7-5 in epic final

Wow, absolutely epic match. I went out and played my heart out, played some of my best tennis but came up short against a TS3 god, congrats man

1st Set: I come out firing and power my way to a 0-40 lead which i take to break for 1-0, i then hold for 2-0. However he then manages to hold then break back for 2-2, at 3-3 I manage to gain another break but he quickly breaks straight back. At 5-5 i manage to break again with the help of a double fault, at 6-5 i manage to get 40-15 but he plays some inspired tennis to level it at duece and get some b/p, however i hold strong and manage to hold to take the set 7-5.

2nd Set: Im tired after the 1st set and know I have to break early, however i fail to gain an opportunity as he holds, he then goes on to break pretty easily and hold again. He gets a few more break points at 2-4 which i save and he manages to hold serve for the entire set without facing a b/p,

3rd Set: We both start of with love service games, however i start to gain more break points while he only wins 1 point on my serve. At 3-4 on his serve I manage to get a love-40 lead, he saves the 1st two with agressive play but I get the upper hand in the rally and have a chance to win the point, i hit a well timed crosscourt fh that only just misses the line, he holds and starts putting pressure on my serve. At 5-5 i succomb to his baseline skills and he manages to grab a fairly easy break. At 6-5 i manage to get 30-40 and get ahead in the rally but put a bh down the line into the net. I get another b/p but he saves it and forces an error on his first m/p to take a great final.
