he has good backhand, but especially his slices and dropshot, but that obviously can't be edited..his forehand is better...

i'd say
Serve
Power
Forehand
Backhand

His Forehand is all power, if you make the power stat 85-90 you can be hitting shots just like his on Top Spin.

But to effectively hit drop shots and slices well in the game like Gulbis does from his backhand, a high backhand is needed.
Work me a boss.

Ok so that's what I gave to him:
Forehand: 82
Backhand 74
Serve: 86
Power: 85
Not sure at all but now it's done :?

Yippie-Caiay is right on the money. In TS3 it is hard to create styles that are a bit "different".

Gulbis's BH is by far his "better" shot. I say better because it is the most reliable weapon. And yes, it is a weapon....it just gets overshadowed by his FH and serve.

His BH is has less power then FH, it is not as penetrating and has a bit more top spin on it. His BH slice is superb as well as drop shots from that side.

His FH however is a much bigger weapon. He just chooses to unload every-time on it and hits relatively flat. What he needs to do is tame this beast with a bit more top spin - then he can "hit out" as much as he wants, get a nice net clearance and just push the opponents to the locker-rooms.

His FH is more versatile as well, he can hit many spots with it and can change direction easily.

I say for a 40-90 tour, you need to keep it at 90 for FH and around 75 for BH. Since TS3 has near 0 unforced errors when not risking, 75 BH is more then enough to be consistent.

His serve is powerful, but placement sometimes lacks. He usually places it deep, right onto service line, but sometimes lacks side-to-side placement. It is actually scary, because I think he can improve his serve further. It is sort of a serve with a motion A at around 80 while using the stick only. Hard to direct, but it is consistently powerful and deep.

As for speed, should not be above 70. Lets face it, he is fast, but most time he seems fast because:
- either he is control of the point
- he is on a dead run and going all out
- or the opponent can't finish the point (numerous reasons)

He is not a speed demon like Nadal, or not even just plain fast as say Simon.

The best way to put it is that his starting speed is below average, while his top speed is very good.

Another problem is that there is no stat for decision making. If you speak purely of what he is capable of doing, talent wise, you don't have enough points to distribute

Return: 66
Volley: 52
Power: 88 (his biggest weapon)
Speed: 70

I will post it in CAP in pictures (VILARCANE's thread) and here also if you want :) I think it's good, but I have some problems for the haircut, do you know what hairstyle I should give him in the game (maybe sampras's hairstyle ? )

Excellent Gulbis! The 2nd haircut looks closest to me.

...I think you modeled Gulbis after his pictures from 2 years ago (at least).

try photos below, or when you search for photos, try searching for the ones from 2010.

His face has to be thinner, he needs to be way less muscular - his neck is too thick, and generally the shape of the face and chin is way off.

I am a harsh critic  Now go back to work! ;)
