thanks coke,andy and nito, nito played extremely well and tough but it may be weird but the only reason i won was because of nito lol, he basically made me a lefty player, thanks guys and especially coke for bringing this up.

ps. by end of us open TOMO basically is ranked 60 or so, cheers!!

Played two matches back to back yesterday.

The first me as Bishop against AndyMachine as Cannon. The lag was very bad for much of this match for both of us and it showed, in the first set there was just one hold and he won it 6-4 and I finally held my serve in the 2nd but lost it 6-1.

I nearly didn't bother with the next match against Matt4U2NV as Gray after that experience but surprisingly even with Gray he could not break me. I won the first with one break and the next two went to breakers.

In the final set breaker I led 6-5 with a serve and then for some unknown reason I decided to shift my service postion (which I never do) and soundly had a return winner smashed past me. Then to make matters worse I was in control of the next point and panicked and threw an awful dropshot into the net (I don't do dropshots) before losing.

I would have been fine with losing 1 & 1 after my first match with Andy but to go from one extreme of never holding serve, to never losing serve in the entire match and having mp on serve left a real sour taste.

Needless to say the controller met the floor pretty hard.

simply great serving from hin , i had chances tho and i dont usually get down after a match but im tired of reaching all these semis and only winning one i get oddly passive sometimes in semis and finals but still clobbered it mostly tonight but he serves to well lol

Yeah It could have a other way. Andy had a breakpoint at 4-5 30-40, but didn't won the point. At 6-5 I got also one breakpoint at and after a rally I won the set. In the second set we got both much 30-30 but did'nt come to 30-40. Then comes the tie-break and that was a really thriller. At 9-10 he got one set point and I was lucky that I won that point. At 15-14 finally I got a match point too serve out the set.

Conclusion: he played very well, he has a nightmare return.
For me I served well and won the important points .

Mercedes semi-finals

weird win over Matt4U2NV

1st set- i broke in the beginning and we started to hold comfortably until 5-3 i broke again .
2nd set- we got to 1-1 and i memorized his serve, i continuously broke and held untill 5-1 and i served and ace to win 6-3 6-1.

how did i win like this??
am i really getting better??

Both sets were very similar, I could return well and press Likos with his service, and he did not feel comfortable with my serve, so I took control of the match, something really difficult against Likos, because he can hit a winner shot of almost all positions, congratulations on reaching the final by beating players like Marlon, and congratulations also for your sportsmanship .
