I changed my guys ground motions a bit, but my timing on them is awful so allot of my shots were half pace right in the middle of the court.

ToneDawg dealt with those balls accordingly. I'm honored to have participated in my first double bagel. I just wish it was the other way around. :P

I have honestly never seen anyone change the way he can play when it matters as much as otlichno . even if he 4 2 down in a set your still scared that he will break back

I changed my motions to C on both sides.

Boy, has it made a difference, in my match against ToneDawg like he said I had no power on my shots.

But today after changing up the motions I beat Petrelli 6-3 5-7 7-6. The change in motions changed the pace and speed of my shots drastically I definitely think these motions are the most aggressive ones in the whole game, definitely my favorite ones.

played andy machine and won 6-4 6-2

1st set he breaks me on the fly  and almost does it again but i hold :) then i get the break back and break again then i served it out this set was very awkward as he looked to be able to beat me he hardly missed a return and i was playing defense i think if andy chooses his risks more wisely he definitely could have won.

2nd set: i moved towards the center to serve and he eats those serves alive  but i hold some how and when i went to return he just made errors i dont get it i was out of position so much that he didn't need them and i break twice and served it out.

andy plays alot like pocho89 execpt i remember playing pocho and he didnt miss a single return i was up 4-1 and he doesnt miss from there on out it was a wierd match. andy you should use risking more wisely if u can take the point very easily why would u need risk

alex 13090 vs riley108

Postby riley108 » Tue, 10 Aug 2010 16:42

i dont usually report exho matches but this one has to be reported

riley108 vs alex13090

set 1

alex holds immediatley then breaks me immediatley i make no threat to his serve he just completley dominates this set and takes it 2 6

set 2

man this one was an awesome set some very good rallies and some super shots from the both of us and also some good defensive play from both, we both get break points throughout the set but none were taken, it goes to a tie breaker, alex serves 1st i immediatley get the mini break with a double trigger return down the line at 2-0 my serve after a good return from alex and a long rally alex gets his mini brak back for 2-1, alex then serves and i immediatley get the mini brak back with a l2 cross cort return he serves again at 3-1 to me i again hit a double trigger down the line to take the double break, at 4-1 i serve he immediatley gets a break back for 4-2 i then hold my next serve for 5-2, he serves and holds both times for 5-4, i serve he gets the mini brak back again for 5-5 i then hold after another long rally for 6-5 MP he serves and holds 6-6 but the next serve i hit a cross court l2 topspin shot it then turns in to a 8+ shot rally which i eventually win wit a l2x shot down the line i serve at7-6 and hold to take the set. 7-6

3rd set

he immediatley braks my serve with ease, he now serves and was determined to break back and i did with a mixture of normal shots and double trigger returns, after that we both held serve but of us throughout the set had lots of brak points but did not take them, ther was also some awesome rallies throughout, but despit this it goes to another tie break,
i serve he immediatley gets the mini break for 1-0 to alex, he then serves and holds both times after some great rallies with a mixture of defensive and agrressive shots from both of us, he now leads 3-0, i serve and hold the 1st time but again in the next report alex gets another mini break with an audatious double trigger x shot cross court which i got to but could not recover from alex now leads 4-1, alex serves i get a mini brak back by smashing one down the line on return of serve, 4-2 alex the aces me down the tape for 5-2 i was now worried, i serve and ace alex out wide on the next point i serve and hold again after another longish rally its now 5-4 to alex on his serve he wins hi 1st point serve again with an ace and he now has MP 6-4 BUT HIS NEXT SERVE I AGAIN SMASH A DOUBLE TRIGGERX down the line to win the point its now 6-5 to alex and stillMP to alex i serve out wide he gets in a normal return which turned in to a defensive rally but i tried fooling alex with an l2 cross court top spin which went in to the net  had it gone in i would of won the point but alex takes the tie break 7-5.

alex wins 6-2 6-7 7-6

what a match the most enjoyable exho ive played, i can see why alex is number 1 he never gives and the best shot variety on the tour in my opinion, his only weak spot is his serve, i think if he can serve like maximo he'll be unbeatable

alex can seve as well as me, and maybe better, but in exhos he likes taste new things, like serve with stick, but do not fall into that false illusion, things change a lot in official matches, his serve is fantastic, I tell you from experience

Alexs serve is good, great maybe, its consistant and gets the job done. Its more what he does after he serves that makes him hard to break

Alex's game can change 3 or 4 times every match!

Sometimes it seems like he's beating you because of his defense and once you get a hang of it he turns into big serving Alex, once you get the groove of his serve, he'll change into big returning Alex. It's SO hard to get a rhythm off of a game like that.
