Sometimes we have to accept that you should not expect someone to prove their point of view to you. Opinions do not have to be objectively proven, otherwise they would be known as facts. Point is try not to deride someone as being 'off' just because they do not share your opinion.

The best servers IMO are those such as captainperfino (sic). I would certainly guess he serves with the stick. Stick serves have more pace placement and penetration when executed well IMO. I do agree that button serves can be more consistent.

And what's wrong with spelling corrections. No need to take it as me being derisive. I think its quite impressive that you can communicate in multiple languages. However, I think you would agree that hit of the court is quite different than hit off the court. Notice I didn't say you were 'off' because of your spelling mistake.

Your turn...

I am just a passionate tennis Geek. That's all :P

I apologies if the word "off" rubbed you the wrong way, really didn't mean that. Spelling mistakes also come from my iPhone, which sometimes chooses the spelling for me and I am too lazy to go back and change that. It just felt like it was a "jab" rather then a genuine desire to help my English. I could be "off" on that one thou.

Back to serve (lets stay on tennis shall we?). I have no played Captain recently. Whats his serve rating? Which SIM player he uses?

Sorry DJ got a little busy at work. I guess I am referring mostly of MS versus mss. I've never played captain in mss. I just lost to RV Cobra last night, formerly Ojvih (sic) in mss. I would say he served mostly with the stick and he used Cannon I believe.

3rd set(best)- whoever won it would still be a great match, 6-6 we go to 15-14 Matt's serve, slice serve outwide and i luckily slapped an X down the line risk return and won.

coke4 fights to defeat DRII 7-6(4) 3-6 6-3 7-5

1st Set- We both start off serving strong and we go to the tie break without facing any b/p or any scares on serve. I get a double mini break early on and go 3-0 up then hold both my servic points for 5-0, he makes a small comeback, getting a mini break back but i take the set when i won a point on his serve at 4-6 to take it 7-4.

2nd Set- He starts off strongly by holding easily then he played well and got 15-40 on my serve, he gets on top in a rally at 15-40 and takes his first b/p opportunity to break then hold for 3-0. He then relaxed on my service games and focused on just holding, i tried hard to get that break back but i couldnt even get a b/p and he serves it out at 5-3 easily to take the set 6-3.

3rd Set- I start off strongly by holding easily and getting 15-40 on his serve, however he fights back with strong serving to save both break points and level it back to duece, i manage to get another break point and this time i take it to break. He takes me to duece my next service game and then manages to get a break point but i save it and go on to hold for 3-0. The rest of the set went like the 2nd set and i manage to serve it out without anymore problems.

4th Set- We were both now very tired and rallies were becoming rare and we were both holding serve very easily, we both had one or two half chances but nothing to get excited about, at 5-5 on his serve i go 0-15 up, he takes control to bring in to 30-15 but i bring it back to 30-30, i realise i need to go for my return and i hot a big return to his feet and follow it up with a bh down the line winner. He then misses his first serve at 30-40 and i manage to take advantage of his 2nd serve and break with a forehand up the line winner off a slice. He gets 0-15 on my serve at 6-5 but i manage to win the next four points in a row to take it 7-5 and win.

coke4 rallies to defeat corrbuster 6-7(6) 7-6(6) 6-4 6-1 to reach wimbledon semi finals

1st Set: We both start off serving easily with him doing a bit better on return in the early stages, but as the set went on i started to return better and we went into the tie break having won the same amount of points. He went up an early min break but i managed to get it back but then he went on a rampage to go 6-2 up, however i manage to stay into it, getting 2 mini breaks backt to level it at 6-6, however from here he holds his service point for 7-6 then gets another mini break to take it 8-6.

2nd Set: This set i up the intensity as i know it is a must win set and i get quite a few 0-30's and 30-30 and dueces but i am unable to get a break point, meanwhile i am holding very easily. In the tie break he against goes up an early mini break but i get it back, he gets another one though to go up 6-3, i manage to hold both my service points for 5-6 then get a mini break to level it at 6-6, i then get another mini break for 7-6 and serve it out for 8-6.

3rd Set:Continued like the 2nd with me putting a lot of pressure on his serve but not being rewarded for it. However at 4-4 i manage to get a 0-40 lead on his serve, he saves the first but i break with the second and serve it out to take the set 6-4

4th Set: I manage to carve out a 15-40 lead straight away and took my first break point opportunity and broke with a BH down the line winner. At 3-1 i manage to get another 15-40 and manage to break straight away, this time take it with a forehand down the line winner. At 1-5 i manage to get 30-40, he decides to try serve and volleying, we i hit a couple of attempted passes but he keeps getting them back but i eventually force him into to hitting a volley into the tramlines to take the 4th set 6-1.

Great match, it could have gone either way and kpar really suprised me by his performance..he improved a lot since our last encounter and he pushed me to the limits. I kept my mental game up throughout the whole match and that was the difference i think.
