WORD.

It's not so bad to be caught offgaurd by one serve, but getting robbed on the next point as well by a fast server is exponentially frustrating.

I wont play that guy anymore. He is weird as well. I did check out his site a long time ago and for some reason I remember laughing for a long time when viewing it.

First, my thoughts on PCFitness:

I've played him a few times on the World Tour, and I also happened to catch my roomate playing him on World Tour once. My first observation was that he used a stacked setup, which is whatever I mean it's hard to find someone on the WT that doesn't. Honestly beyond that I didn't have any issues with him. He would always send me really courteous messages. The most recent time I played him I beat his guy with my Thompson and he said something like, "Wow! You're good, but you don't need me to tell you that. I suck and I use this cheesy stacked setup." So honestly I even had a sense of humility from him; nothing negative to add to the debate.

Secondly, about bouncing:

I generally bounce the ball two times before every serve. It's become part of my motion almost that when I change it up it almost feels unnatural. I think it's annoying when anyone with any serve doesn't bounce at least once, mainly because they know that it's considered an unwritten rule in ITST. Obviously we all know the Roddick serve without a bounce should be an actual written rule!

On the flip side, though I also hate when people purposely change their serve bouncing habits to annoy me. For instance, I'm all over a guy in a match so he starts purposely bouncing the ball SIX times, every time before serving. I actually find this almost as annoying as no bouncing.

I was kinda hoping we don't need a rule for this.

nice dream :-)
i say it the whole time -we need a few underrules on the itst tour !!
I don´t care as written or as unwritten rule . only thing: the rules just must count for all !!

i know pc fitness very long. hes a good guy- he allways sayed what he think .maybe he do that sometimes to aggressive .
against his setup in WORLDCUP is nothing to say in a bad way.
hey WORLDTOUR isn´t ITST .
and in WORLDTOUR doesn´t count itst rules.
in WT DOESN´T count any rule!!
ALL IS ALLOWED IN WT !!
every tactic ,every setup ,every possible shot ,every acting in a permanently repeating!!
all is allowed in WT .
thats WT
so it is more as correct to play WT with a 100er setup .

we can make rules by itst ,but not for WT :
so we can say nothing bad when someone decidet to play a stacked 100er player - thats absolutly correct . and only to see in a positive way .
all who think different are nerds who think they can create rules in a tour who they have nothing to say or to decide !!
that simple . it sounds maybe little harsh from me , but its 100 %true

so far i know the maximum is to let the ball 3 timesbouncing -than the serveanimation is starting automaticly ,no?:
so in my opinion is that to let the ball bouncing 3 times is acceptable . much more acceptable than the fast serving glitch with serve D .
yes its like djarvik sayed .its a glitch
same glitch like insidereturning and linedancing . all the same aerea !
i really can´t understand why itst not criminalize the glitches in TS3??
using glitches is cheating,no?

Definitely! When people decide suddenly that they want to change the way they bounce on big points it takes me out of my rhythm and I end of timing the return wrong, and my anticipation of the serve begins to suck.

Well almost all of us have engaged in arguments ,however I do not think there is any excuse for calling people bigoted names like the n word or the f word you hear alot. call someone a jerk, a hole or whatever but dont get personal and call hate names.

They bounce it three times, pause, and then bounce three more times before automatically serving.

Come on you DUMB **** ****,you think i got all day for your to bounce the ball, lol. stupid brownie ****,lol.

I just happen to be strolling around the ITST forums and noticed this.

Let me say that I remember "almost" every time I encounter someone who does the forever bouncing tactic, why, because it annoys me and wastes my time, as I'm sure it would anyone else. So naturally I'm gonna get pissed and be an ass to the horrendous ball breaker, I mean ball bouncer.. Come on guys, can ya blaime me?

Besides that, I never played or took tennis serious until Top Spin 2, I realize this may sound foreign to many of you, but it's true. So when I got into Top Spin 2 in my mid 30s I looked at it as just a game and really nothing more and did so through out most of Top Spin 3 as well, that was until my love for the game began to mature. Mid Top Spin 3 my playing style changed and I became an advocate of the game, that's when I started Xbox Tennis.net as well as xboxtennis on YouTube. Today my play style is as true and as real as I possible can be. I don't use cheap tactics nor do I enjoy play the newbs that use these tactics. I hate to say it, but it reminds me of how I use to be, lol. I know many of you can relate ;->

With that being said, stacking your Top Spin 3 player, well, I've seen MANY of us do it. We might not do it anymore, but we did. Even now we do it in Top Spin 4 for the simple fact of experimentation and it's kind of fun. However, in WT, it's not cool and now thousands do it.
