i watched the second set and he wasnt playing very well, he got double break and served at 4-1 but got broken once, and at 5-4 serving for match he got broken again...he was being totally outplayed from the baseline, lots of errors with his forehand but serra was on fire with his groundstrokes..he won 7-3 in tiebreak

I was gonna say "Moralspain, you're a genius for picking Fish over Murray" .... then I noticed you have Fish winning the whole thing, so, I'm gonna hang onto my praise for now. :P :)

I WISH I'd picked fish over murray...

Mardy is awesome, one of my favorites. But I didn't have the balls to pick him going deep (again).
I hope Fish wins and moralspain is the only guy who predicted it.

AMEN
When i was making my picks i remembered Fish 2 year ago doing great in Indian Wells and reaching the final against Nole (and beating Fed in 2 sets in the semis), and i thought to myself "If he did once then he can do it again in Miami"

A close match but Federer had chances to take this one, but didn't. Another match point blown.

I guess everybody has their off days, but 62 unforced errors?! They should just re-name him FedError.

At this stage it's almost like a lottery picking him to consistently get results over the best of three sets.

I really think he's so insanely confident with his forehand and so aware of the hype/legend surrounding that particular shot of his, that he's getting carried away with it now/the last year or so. He very often goes for spectacular forehands when just a very good one (which he could hit 9 times out of 10) would do.
