only 1 last question... why do you reccomend to serve with only L2 and not L2+R2?

should i use the strick or better the buttons?

Simple. Returning is about timing and positioning. By varying placement you are addressing only positioning..... allowing your opponent to get into a rhythm, then all he needs to worry about is direction of the ball. By varying pace - you address the timing on returns. Your opponent no longer can release the button at the same time....now he needs to release it either later or earlier depending on how fast and what spin the ball has.

I use both, stick and buttons. Gives the returner more looks at different paces and placements.

I use all the serves. L2, R2, L2+R2 and no triggers at all. I also serve stick. BTW - triggers do nothing for stick serves.

I don't believe i mentored Likos.

Lost 7-6 6-7 6-4 to Maximo, he was playing with Rogers and I was Bishop. This guy is so good, he's playing with a character he's not used to, there's a bit of lag so his movement can't be used to it's fullest potential, yet he still has me on my toes. Or I just suck. It was really strange because the tie break he won I had a mini-break at the beginning and the tie break I won he had a mini-break at the beginning. In the end (as usual :x) my serve let me down when I needed it most, and somehow with Rogers Maximo is still able to risk return consistently and it really broke my game down.

It's just that he was playing with Rogers in lag, so basically the amazing movement was pretty much wasted and that's Rogers biggest strength. I just find it amazing how well he could play with Rogers without actually using his strength. He completely outplayed me in all parts of the game without actually being able to use Rogers properly because of the lag.

Besides rogers movement, the stamina helps in consistency and risk. Which means that his shots will basically stay the same thruout the match, his risks will be easier to execute, he will change directions faster, his return will be just as consistent as in first game etc....while your Bishop starts slowing down on everything, he remains solid. I think thats the real strength of Rogers. Not speed- rather consistency. When we made this guy, I said that once the "heavy riskers" discover this guy - he will be the most used and extremely tough to beat.
